Max Scherzer o5.5 Ks vs. Marlins (-170, DraftKings)

Scherzer hit this over in his first start of the season last year with six strikeouts and I see him doing it again here against the Marlins on Opening Day. He hit this over in his first six starts of the season last year and I see him starting off this season with another bang and hitting this over.

Red Sox ML vs. Orioles (-115, BetMGM) 

I would never bet against the Red Sox on Opening Day at Fenway Park, so I have to go with their moneyline in this one. With Corey Kluber on the mound, I think the Red Sox will kick off their road to proving the doubters wrong this season with a win. Nuggets -6.5 vs. Pelicans (-110, Caesars)

The Nuggets have covered the spread in three of their last four games and in 10 of their last 12 games at home. And the Nuggets covered the spread in their last matchup against the Pelicans when they beat them 122-113 in January, so I like the Nuggets to cover this spread.
