Points Prop Picks

Check out our favorite NBA points prop picks for tonight's games. I've done a deep dive on matchup data, box scores, game logs, home vs. away splits, offensive and defensive ratings and many advanced stats to deliver you the best points scored prop picks for tonight.

Mo Wagner Over 6.5 Points (-115, DraftKings)

Averaging 11.1 points in just 18.4 minutes per game this season, Wagner has gone over this number 77.4% of the time and in all three games against the Cavaliers: 15, eight and 11. While his playing time hasn’t exactly been an optimistic factor to look at, he’s proven that he has the ability to produce in the points column in limited time and has played 18, 18 and 21 minutes against Cleveland this season. With both Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley active for the Cavs, I assume he will see similar minutes in this one since Orlando will need his size. I absolutely love this option today.

Walker Kessler Over 9.5 Points (-128, FanDuel)

The Hornets have allowed 26.22 points per game to opposing centers this season, 2nd-most in the NBA. That thrusts Kessler in a fantastic spot, especially since his playing time has picked up after Kelly Olynyk got traded away before the deadline. He’s gone over this mark in three of his last four games and scored 10 points in just 16 minutes off the bench against this Hornets squad in his first meeting against them this season back in January. Charlotte has allowed 53.8 points in the paint per game (7th-most in the NBA) and that’s where Kessler makes most of his production happen as his 69.3% career field goal percentage conveys.

3-Pointer Prop Picks

Check out my favorite 3-pointer prop picks for tonight's games. Find out which players have the best opportunity to hit a few 3s tonight and win you some prop bets.

Immanuel Quickley Over 2.5 Made Threes (+120, DraftKings)

No NBA team has allowed more three-pointers per game to opposing point guards than the Nets (3.64), which puts Quickley in a great spot to make things happen from beyond the arc. In February, he made an average of 2.5 threes on 7.0 attempts per contest (35.7%) and with Dennis Schroder traded away, he should see 35-to-38 minutes at the point for Toronto moving forward. He made over 2.5 threes in two of his last five starts and I really like the price at DraftKings. In his one game against the Nets this season, Quickley went 4-for-6 from deep (as a member of the Knicks).

Derrick White Over 2.5 Made Threes (+108, FanDuel)

No team has allowed more three-pointers per game to opposing shooting guards than the Bulls (3.87), which means White is in a fantastic spot to produce from deep. White made at least four threes in five of his last nine games heading into the All-Star break and should see plenty of great looks as Chicago’s defense collapses and closes out on Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and others. It is also worth noting that Chicago has played both Andre Drummond and Nikola Vucevic on the court together at times, which should result in very positive things for Boston’s team-centric offensive philosophy that prides itself on finding the open man.

Assists Prop Picks

Find the best assist prop picks for tonight's games. I've sifted through potential assist, passing ratings, and all the data you need to cash some winning tickets.

Caris LeVert Over 3.5 Assists (-135, DraftKings)

LeVert hit this seven straight times heading into the All-Star break and averaged 6.1 assists on 8.4 potential dimes, leading the second unit with his playmaking skills. In that span, he didn’t dip below five actual assists in any game despite playing no more than 27 minutes in any contest. Since the Magic like playing small, I wouldn’t be shocked if he pushes 30 minutes in what should be a back-and-forth affair.

Josh Giddey Over 3.5 Assists (-145, DraftKings)

Speaking of another guy who can make things happen in limited playing time, this has hit at a 71.7% rate this season. Giddey’s playing time has been a bit inconsistent this year and despite playing 19 and 14 minutes in his two games against the Clippers this season, he dished out four assists in both contests. If he sees even 20-to-24 minutes, he should easily get over this number.

Rebound Prop Picks

Check out which players are going to clean the glass tonight and win some rebound prop bets. I've analyzed dozens of data points to provide you the best NBA player props for tonight. Here are some expert rebound picks.

Nikola Jokic Over 12.5 Rebounds (-114, Caesars)

No team has allowed more rebounds to opposing centers than the Wizards, which puts Jokic in a fantastic position to dominate the glass. Averaging 12.0 rebounds on 18.7 rebounding chances on the season, he pulled down 12 boards but saw a whopping 23 rebounding chances in his only game against Washington this season. He also dropped 42 points in that first matchup against Washington, so most of his focus was on that end of the floor. I expect him to get over 12.5 in this one especially since he’s fresh after the relaxation of the All-Star break.

Andre Drummond Over 9.5 Rebounds (-120, FanDuel)

As one of the best rebounders in NBA history, Drummond is averaging 8.6 rebounds in just 16.7 minutes per game this season, has gotten over this number in four of his last five contests and in that span, averaged 12.3 boards on 19.8 rebounding chances, both of which led his team. A matchup against the Celtics is never easy or fun to target, but I’ll make an exception.

Combo Prop Picks

Check out my favorite combination prop picks for tonight's games. Find out which players have the best opportunity to win when combining props like points + rebounds + assists, double-doubles, triple-doubles and more.

Ben Simmons Over 11.5 Rebounds + Assists (-125, DraftKings)

Simmons has gotten over this in 10 of his 12 games played this season and has averaged 8.4 rebounds (on 12.5 rebounding chances) and 6.5 assists (on 10.5 potential assists) in 25.7 minutes. The Raptors have allowed 10.09 assists (2nd-most in NBA) and 6.25 rebounds (14th-most) to opposing point guards this season, so the upside is there. Keep in mind that I bet over 15.5 rebounds + assists for Simmons and won multiple times earlier in the season, so this is a steep discount based on the number we saw back then for the same player in a great matchup with less competition now that former teammate Spencer Dinwiddie was traded away.

Defense Prop Picks

Check out our favorite NBA player props when it comes to defense. Want to know who is going to get a key block or load up on steal tonight, keep reading our favorite NBA prop bets for today.

Victor Wembanyama Over 2.5 Blocks (-142, FanDuel)

This is becoming an auto-play for me. Averaging an NBA-best 3.2 blocks per game (with an upside of 10), I’m simply going to keep betting this. He hit it in three of his last four heading into the All-Star break and is already the best shot-blocker in the league as a rookie.

What are the Best NBA Player Props for Tonight?

The best NBA player prop for tonight are the picks we made above! If you want to know which prop pick types we are best at we have you covered. We track all of our prop picks and their results, so below are some of our best bet types:

How do NBA Player Props Work?

NBA player props take your basketball excitement to the next level! Instead of just betting on the game's winner, you can now predict how individual players will perform. Imagine you think Giannis Antetokounmpo is hungry for a double-double. You can bet "Yes" on him getting at least 10 points and 10 rebounds. Or, maybe Steph Curry has a hot hand against the Lakers. You could bet "over 30 points" on his scoring prop. It's all about picking your favorite stat categories (points, rebounds, assists, etc.) and whether you think the player will go above or below the set number by the sportsbook.

What are the different Types of Player Props?

Get ready to explore the thrilling world of NBA player props! Here are the different types of NBA player props that you can wager on. Learn more about how these prop types work so you can take advantage tonight:

1. Scoring Props:

  • Points: The classic! Bet if a player's points will be over or under a set number, like Giannis Antetokounmpo going over or under 25 points tonight.
  • Three-pointers made: NBA three-pointer props are all about raining buckets and predicting long-range accuracy! These exciting bets let you focus on a player's shooting prowess from beyond the arc. Will Steph Curry be splashing threes tonight? Bet on whether his three-pointers made will be over or under a set number, like 4.5

2. Assists Props

  • Assists: NBA assist props let you put your money on a player's passing magic! You basically bet on whether their total assists in a game will be over or under a set number, like Trae Young racking up over 8 assists against a tough defense. Think it'll be a high-assist game? You can even choose a range, like Damian Lillard dishing out between 5 and 8 dimes. Want to get granular? Some props let you focus on a specific quarter, betting on LeBron James to be the early facilitator with over 4 assists in the first period.

3. Rebound Props:

  • Rebounds: NBA rebound props let you turn your basketball knowledge into exciting wagers focused on a player's ability to control the boards. Bet on whether a player's total rebounds in a game will be over or under a set number, like Nikola Jokic grabbing over 12 rebounds against a smaller team

4. Combo Props:

  • NBA combo props are like double-decker burgers of the betting world – stacking your predictions for two (or more!) player stats into one delicious wager. They take the excitement of individual player props and double the potential reward. Combo props take your favorite NBA player props and combine them. Think it's Jayson Tatum night? You can bet on him to go over or under 33.5 combined points & rebounds. You are minimizing your risk if he doesn't have a great scoring night, but cleans up on the boards. These player prop picks can be ideal if you know a player has multiple advantages against his opponents.

Here are some types of combo props you might find:

  • Points + Rebounds
  • Points + Assists
  • Points + Three-pointers
  • Double-doubles (Points + Rebounds, Points + Assists, etc.)
  • Triple-doubles (Points + Rebounds + Assists)
  • Team Wins + Player Stat (like Celtics to win and Tatum to score over 20 points)

5. Defensive Props:

  • NBA defense props let you shift your focus from scoring stars to the lockdown specialists! It's all about predicting the impact of these defensive warriors on the court:
Steals: NBA steals props are all about testing your knowledge of the league's stealthy ninjas! It's all about predicting how players will disrupt passes and turn those thieving fingers into game-changing moments. Bet on whether a player's total steals in a game will be over or under a set number. Think Jrue Holiday is lurking tonight? Back him to go over 2 steals.
Blocks: NBA block props are your chance to unleash your inner basketball analyst and predict the wall that stands between the basket and the opposing team's hopes! Will Rudy Gobert be a human brick wall tonight? Bet on whether his total blocks in a game will be over or under a set number, like 3.5
Steals + Blocks Combo: NBA Steals + Blocks Combo props are like the dynamic duo of defensive betting! They let you combine your predictions for two of the most impactful defensive stats – steals and blocks – into one exciting wager.

Live Betting NBA Player Props

Live betting on NBA player props can be a thrilling way to add an extra layer of excitement and engagement to your basketball viewing experience. Here's how it works:

What are live NBA player props?

These are bets placed on individual player performance during the actual game, unlike standard pre-game props. You can wager on various statistics like points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers, steals, blocks, and even more specific outcomes like first player to double-double or most points in a quarter.

Tips for live betting NBA player props:
Do your research
: Understand the players' average stats, their matchup against the opposing team, and any potential factors that might impact their performance.

Set a budget: Determine how much you're willing to spend live betting and stick to it. Don't chase losses or exceed your budget.

Focus on value: Don't just be swayed by big names or hot streaks. Look for props with favorable odds and good potential value based on current game dynamics.

Be disciplined: Stick to your strategy and avoid impulsive bets based on emotions or chasing losses. Remember, responsible betting is key.

Live betting on NBA player props can be a fun and rewarding experience, but approach it with caution and responsible betting practices. Enjoy the game, track your props, and remember to bet smart!

The Most Popular Ways to Bet on the NBA

The NBA offers a dynamic betting market with endless possibilities. While preferences can vary, here are some of the most popular ways to bet on the NBA:

Point Spread: This classic bet predicts which team will win by a certain margin. The oddsmakers set a "spread" based on their analysis of the teams' strengths and weaknesses. You can bet on either team to cover the spread (win by more or lose by less than the set margin) for potential payouts.

Moneyline: This straightforward bet involves predicting which team will simply win the game, regardless of the point margin. Underdogs typically offer higher payouts, while favorites have lower payouts.

Over/Under (Totals): This bet focuses on the combined score of both teams in a game. You predict whether the total score will be above or below a certain number set by the oddsmakers.

Parlays: This high-risk, high-reward option combines multiple bets into one wager. If all your predictions win, you can score significant payouts. Popular parlay combinations include point spreads, moneyline picks, and even player props in various games.

Live Betting: This adds an extra layer of excitement by allowing you to place bets throughout the game as it unfolds. Odds constantly update based on the live action, giving you opportunities to capitalize on momentum swings or react to unexpected events.

Player Props: These bets focus on individual player performance, like LeBron James scoring over 30 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo grabbing 12 rebounds, or the Celtics hitting over 10 three-pointers. Prop bets offer diverse options and can add extra interest to watching the game.

Futures bets: These long-term bets predict outcomes far in advance, like picking the champion at the start of the season or placing wagers on individual awards like MVP. They offer longer wait times but potentially large payouts if your predictions pan out.

Same Game Parlays: This concentrated option combines multiple predictions within a single game, including point spread, moneyline, totals, and props. While offering potentially huge payouts, it comes with significantly higher risk as all predictions need to be correct.
