The Astros will be in their strongest split as an offense tonight against the Dodgers, with a 109 wRC+ when they take on right-handers. I think they have a great chance to have success tonight at home against a pitcher that I will be fading in the near future.

RHP Gavin Stone is getting the ball here for Los Angeles, and he is due for some negative regression. He owns a 3.19 ERA, but a 3.78 xERA and 4.04 xFIP, showing that he isn't nearly as good as it would seem. He's benefitted a lot from a high strand rate of 79.4%, and more baserunners are due to come home against him. I view Stone as much closer to an average pitcher than a good one, and I think he could get rocked tonight.

Alvarez is a left-handed bat, so he will immediately get a look here against a right-hander. He leads the team with 20 homers on the season, with 15 of them coming against righties.

I'll also be sprinkling Trey Cabbage (+750, MGM) to hit a homer tonight. He's a dark horse longshot, but he is a left-handed bat and has his only homer of the season against a righty.

Astros OF Yordan Alvarez Over 0.5 RBI vs. Dodgers (+155, BetMGM)

When betting on an RBI prop, you always want to be looking for guys who are batting in the heart of the lineup. This includes the 3, 4, and 5 spots, and Alvarez is always batting right there in the middle. His chances to get an RBI are just higher than anyone else in the lineup because of this, and I really like getting this +155 price for him to get one. He leads the team with 54 RBI on the season and should see plenty of chances to drive in a run.

I'll also be playing Yainer Diaz (+160, MGM) to get an RBI tonight. He usually bats right after Alvarez and also gets a ton of chances to drive in runs each night. He's tied with Alvarez with 54 RBI, and the two of them have been the main run producers for Houston.

Astros OF Yordan Alvarez Over 1.5 Total Bases vs. Dodgers (+106, Caesars)

I'll be backing Alvarez to get us 2+ total bases as well, as I think he could be in store for a great night. He's batting .275 with a .898 OPS, including 14 doubles and 15 homers against right-handers.

I'll be betting Yainer Diaz (+115, DraftKings) to get 2+ total bases as well. While he is a right-handed bat, he has actually been better against righties than he has lefties this season. He's batting .289 with a .729 OPS, including 12 doubles, two triples, and six homers against right-handers.

White Sox RHP Drew Thorpe Over 5.5 Strikeouts vs. Mariners (+124, FanDuel)

Admittedly, this one is a bit of a risk, but I think it is worth it for a +124 price. Thorpe isn't as good as his 3.03 ERA says, but the Mariners lineup has been bad against righties, with a 92 wRC+. They also strike out at the highest clip in all of baseball, at 28.6% against them. If Thorpe can have success here, I think there is a decent chance he can get over this 5.5 line.

Orioles RHP Grayson Rodriguez Under 5.5 Strikeouts vs. Padres (-140, FanDuel)

This line is a bit too high for the matchup that Rodriguez has tonight. While I think he is due for a bit of positive regression, the Padres lineup has been very good against right-handed pitching, with a 116 wRC+ as a lineup. They also strike out at the lowest rate in the league against righties, at just an 18% clip. I think six strikeouts is a lot to ask here.
