Today's MLB Best Bets

Dan Karpuc: Pirates +1.5 at Nationals
It’s Patrick Corbin Day! Washington’s southpaw has gone 3-10 with a 6.60 ERA and the Nationals have gone 4-11 versus the run line in his starts this season. You may be surprised to know that the Pirates have hit 28 home runs against left-handed pitching this season, tied with the Giants for the fifth-most against that handedness. Corbin has allowed exactly two homers in each of his last three starts (13.1 innings) and has surrendered an atrocious 104 hits in 73.2 innings pitched. Anytime Corbin pitches, I’m going to back the opposing team and this is no exception.

Brad Pinkerton: Dodgers -1.5 at Rockies

After getting shut out, 4-0, at Colorado last night, there's no way the Dodgers lose to the Rockies twice in a row, right? Especially with Clayton Kershaw taking the mound Tuesday. This is a great bounce-back spot for the Dodgers offense, which could have been a bit tired after that Sunday night game in Atlanta and flight to Denver with no day off. Even after last night's loss, the Dodgers are 24-16 ATS on the road this season and 40-30 as favorites. The BetQL model is also rating Dodgers -1.5 as a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ value, adding more confidence to this pick.
