Byron Buxton to hit a HR at Guardians
Buxton is sitting for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader, so he should be rested and ready to rock against lefty Konnor Pilkington in the nightcap. Buxton is slugging .672 with seven homers and a .414 ISO against left-handers this season, so this is a great spot to take a shot on him hitting a home run at the best odds you can find once he's confirmed in the lineup.
Josh Donaldson to hit a HR vs. A's (+460 at FanDuel)
Say what you want about batter vs. pitcher stats and small samples, but Donaldson has ripped Frankie Montas in their brief encounters, going 4-for-7 with three homers. He seems to have Montas' number, and I like backing Donaldson even more at Yankee Stadium. Plus, his HR price at FanDuel is incredible value when you consider the matchup.
Clayton Kershaw to record a win at Rockies
After getting shut out, 4-0, at Colorado last night, there's no way the Dodgers lose to the Rockies twice in a row, right? With Clayton Kershaw taking the mound Tuesday, this is a great bounce-back spot for the Dodgers offense, which could have been a bit tired after that Sunday night game in Atlanta and flight to Denver with no day off. I expect Kershaw to be in position to win this game, and even though the Dodgers are big favorites at -220, there should still be some value on Kershaw's W given concerns about how long pitchers can last at Coors Field; he's 11-6 and averaging roughly 6.0 innings in 24 career starts in Colorado, if you're wondering.

I like all these guys to hit their respective overs in strikeouts tonight, and I've listed the best prices in parentheses: Zach Wheeler (O6.5, -140 at BetMGM) faces the Braves, who have the third-highest K-rate in the majors and second-highest vs. RHPs; Robbie Ray (O6.5, -108 at BetRivers) faces the Orioles, who have the fourth-highest K-rate and second-highest vs. LHPs; Sean Manaea (O5.5, +102 at BetRivers) faces the D-backs, who have the fifth-highest K-rate; and Carlos Rodon (O7.5, -125 at DraftKings) faces the Tigers, who have the sixth-highest K-rate.
