With several intriguing NFL matchups set to take place this week, I’ve identified a few favorable football betting player props on theBetMGM Sportsbook that you could consider ahead of the action.

NFL Player Prop Bet: Thursday Night Football, Week 4

Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals, 8:15 p.m. ET

Ja’Marr Chase Over 71.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

As well as the Dolphins defense has played in moments, their passing defense has been vulnerable in recent weeks.

When the Dolphins beat Buffalo in Week 3, three Bills went over this total. The week prior, two Ravens were over this total when Miami came back to beat Baltimore.

Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase averages 70.7 yards per game for the season. But going back to last season, he’s gone over this total in six of his last 10 outings.

The Bengals are trying to find more consistency on offense, and throwing to Chase often would be a good way of doing that.

Tyler Boyd Over 37.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd showed how explosive he is last week with a 56-yard touchdown reception. He ended Week 3’s game with 105 yards on four catches.

Boyd isn’t an afterthought in this offense as many assumed he would be. He still averages about five targets per game in 2022.

And using the same argument for Chase going over his receiving total, Miami’s pass defense can be bested. Boyd has an opportunity here to capitalize.

Joe Burrow Under 272.5 Passing Yards (-115)

While I think the Bengals’ receivers can shine, I don’t think Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow goes over this total.

The Dolphins have allowed more passing yards than this benchmark in two of three games this season. But they gave up this many yards just five times all of last year and will want to bounce back this week.

Thursday night games can be sloppy and low-scoring sometimes because teams are dealing with short weeks. I think this is an instance of that.

The Bengals will want to run the ball, win time of possession and keep it close against a Dolphins team that’s playing well. That would leave Burrow with fewer opportunities to go over this total.
