Dan Karpuc: Lance McCullers Jr. Over 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (+130, DraftKings)
McCullers faced this Phillies lineup on Oct. 3 and, while he escaped with just one earned run, he allowed six hits in the process. In what will be an absolutely insane atmosphere in Philadelphia, I expect the Phillies’ star-studded lineup that features guys like Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Nick Castellanos, Rhys Hoskins and J.T. Realmuto to get to him. Any of the aforementioned guys can change the entire game with one swing and getting plus-money on McCullers allowing three or more earned runs seems like a solid value. I’m not touching sides or totals in this series as I think sportsbooks have done a really solid job pricing everything. I’ll also most likely take a shot on a home run prop or two depending on the price, but this is the pitcher prop that stuck out to me for Game 3.

Lucy Burdge: Astros ML -125 vs. Phillies
The Astros took Game 2 of this series to tie it up and I think they’ll also secure the win in this Game 3 to pull ahead. The Astros' bats were hot in Game 2, and I think they’ll stay hot in this one against Ranger Suarez and the Phillies. In the second half of this season, the Astros are 39-13 SU against teams averaging 0.6 or fewer errors per game, and 20-5 when playing against a team with a winning percentage of 54-62%. So I like Houston to take this one over the Phillies.

Brad Pinkerton: Under 8

Despite how the first two games have gone (Game 1 over 6.5, Game 2 push 7) with frontline starters giving up runs, I'm following the season-long trends and sticking with the under in Game 3. The total has risen to 8, likely due to the uncertainties of Ranger Suarez starting for Philly after pitching in Game 1, and Lance McCullers Jr. getting the call for Houston, but I don't expect either starter to have a long leash in this pivotal Game 3. If either gets into early trouble, this will quickly turn into a bullpen chess match before there's too much damage done. Also, 60.9% of Houston's games have gone under, most in baseball, plus they are 29-50 O/U on the road, 55-85 O/U as favorites and 21-40 O/U as road favs.
