Burdge: What I'm Betting on Wednesday, June 21

Austin Riley O 0.5 HRs vs. Phillies (+550, DraftKings)
Riley is coming off a game in which he hit a home run and he has 12 home runs this season. And he will be facing Aaron Nola and the Phillies tonight, which is great news for him because in 48 career at-bats against Nola, Riley has 20 hits, five home runs. So I think he can hit another one out tonight against Nola and the Phillies. 

Justin Turner O 1.5 Total Bases (+130, BetMGM)
Justin Turner has four hits in his last three games, with two hits in two of those three, so he has been hitting the over on this and I think he will do it again up against Sonny Gray and the Twins. Against Sonny Gray in 11 at-bats in his career, Turner has five hits, including two singles, two doubles and a home run. So he has had success with hitting this over against Gray before and I see him doing it again tonight. 

Shohei Ohtani O 0.5 HRs vs. Dodgers (+275, BetMGM)
Ohtani has hit four home runs in his last six games and he leads the league in home runs with 24. And Michael Grove is starting for the Dodgers tonight, which Dave Roberts said “makes a lot of sense,” but to me it makes sense to take Ohtani to hit a home run in that case because in his last start, Grove gave up four home runs and has given up a total of eight home runs over his six starts. And just because Ohtani is also starting tonight does not mean he can’t also hit a home run. He has certainly done it before and I see him doing it again.
