Juan Soto will make his glorious return to Washington, D.C., on Friday night when his new team, the Padres, will face the Nationals for a three-game series. Soto, of course, was traded to the Padres from the Nationals in the splash of the summer at the MLB trade deadline.
Now he's back to face his former team and you can bet on how he'll do against them.
If you want to get in on Soto to hit a home run, that is at +320 at BetMGM. Nationals RHP Cory Abbott will get the start, and he's 0-1 in five games (two starts) with a 5.68 ERA, so Soto could really do some damage against him. Not to mention, Abbott is coming off a start in which he gave up seven runs and seven hits in 3.2 innings, so there's potential for him to melt down once again.
Soto has 22 home runs this season with one home run and nine hits in his last seven games. And If you're looking at Soto to get a hit, that is at -220 and to rack up over 1.5 total bases, that is at +120. Keep in mind, he has nine total bases in his last three games, so he's not lacking in that area lately by any means.
Soto's odds to get an RBI are at +145 and he's at -225 to score a run. He has one homer and four runs scored in his last two games, so he's really been doing it all. And you can bet on him to show his former team what's what risk-free with the BetMGM offer below!
