Today's MLB Best Bets

Dan Karpuc: Marlins-Cardinals Under 7.5
I fully expect this to be a pitcher’s duel, as Miami’s Sandy Alcantara (7-3, 1.95 ERA) will take on St. Louis’ Andre Pallante (2-3, 2.03 ERA). Alcantara has been one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball this season, allowing just 73 hits and 23 earned runs with 94 strikeouts and 28 walks in 106.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, Pallante has spent time as a reliever and a starter, but has been very effective in both roles. Although the Cardinals have one of the best offenses in baseball and Miami has an average one, I certainly am giving the edge to the pitchers in this one. The BetQL model agrees, projecting seven total runs to be scored.

Brad Pinkerton: Dodgers-Rockies Over 11

The BetQL MLB model had quite a Tuesday, going 22-10 (69%) on all picks rated ⭐⭐⭐ and higher for a total return of $1,138 on $100 bets. That included a perfect 4-0 mark on ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ O/U picks, which is exactly what the model is rating the Over 11 for Dodgers-Rockies today. These two combined for exactly 11 runs Tuesday in the Rockies' 7-4 win, and I think both offenses will show up again today. The model is projecting 12 runs in this one, and it actually has four more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ picks in this game alone, so be sure to check out the game page below!
