“BEAT THE STREAK” PICK OF THE DAY
Freddie Freeman to record a hit at Rockies
Freeman is working on a 12-game hit streak, during which he's 20-for-50 (.400). Today he faces the Rockies' German Marquez in Colorado, where the right-hander is allowing a .317 average and a .315 mark against left-handed hitters. You can trust Freeman to stay hot today.

Manny Machado to hit a HR at D-backs (+350 at FanDuel)
There are several reasons to love Machado today. First, he's facing Madison Bumgarner in hitter-friendly Arizona. Machado already has three career homers off Bumgarner, who has allowed 11 homers in his last 11 starts, including five in his last four home starts. Plus, Machado is slashing .292/.373/.615 with six homers and a .323 ISO against lefties this season, so this is a great spot for Manny to mash.
Gleyber Torres to hit a HR vs. A's (+540 at FanDuel)
Torres has a league-high eight homers against left-handed pitching and a .400 ISO, so I'm all over him against A's LHP Cole Irvin today in Yankee Stadium. In fact, there are several Yankees sluggers we love in this matchup (Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, of course), but Torres offers by far the best value. The Yankees play at 1:05 p.m. ET, so get your bets in early today. FYI, Caesars is boosting the odds for both Torres and Judge to homer to +1500 if you're interested.
C.J. Cron to hit a HR vs. Dodgers (+340 at FanDuel)
Cron is another lefty-killer that I'm targeting today. Obviously, playing at Coors today is one reason to like him, but it's also a plus-matchup against Dodgers LHP Julio Urias. Cron already has a pair of homers off Urias, going 6-for-14 (.429). Plus, Urias has been somewhat prone to long-balls lately, giving up five in his last five starts, as well as a four-homer outing last month. Add in the fact that Cron has an .850 OPS and .268 ISO with six homers against lefties overall this season, and he looks like a great value tonight.
Aces Over Ks: Jameson Taillon (O4.5), Mike Clevinger (O4.5), Michael Kopech (O5.5)
I like all these guys to hit their respective overs in strikeouts today, and I've listed the best prices in parentheses: Jameson Taillon (O4.5, -108 at FanDuel) faces the A's, who have the seventh-highest K-rate in the majors vs. RHPs; Mike Clevinger (O5.5, +132 at FanDuel) faces the D-backs, who have the fifth-highest K-rate vs. RHPs; and Michael Kopech (O5.5, -104 at Caesars) faces the Angels, who have the league's highest K-rate against RHPs at 26.0%.
