Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks enter this contest with a 6-10 SU record and own a -18 run differential. Since L.A. has scored the second-most runs (82) and given up the fewest (38), it’s easy to already make the claim that they’re the best team in baseball. I’m going to continue targeting their run lines as much as possible, especially in matchups against much inferior opponents.

Lucy Burdge: Mets -150 ML at Cardinals
Max Scherzer is on the mound for the Mets, so I think New York is in safe hands. He had 10 strikeouts in seven innings in his last start, seven strikeouts in six innings before that and six strikeouts in six innings in his first start. He’s given up only five earned runs in that span, so I see him limiting this Cardinals lineup today. And a BetQL trend favoring the Mets to win is Scherzer has gone 21-5 vs. an NL team with a team batting average of .245 or worse over the last two years. So give me the Mets moneyline here to defeat the Cardinals.

Red Sox vs. Blue Jays should be an easy over, right? Not quite. Strong pitching and weak hitting have caused these teams to combine to go 9-23 O/U so far this season, including 12 unders in their last 13 games combined. There will be an offensive explosion from these teams sooner or later, but I'll ride the under trend until their bats wake up.
