The American League has dominated the All-Star game over the last decade, winning nine straight games, which means it's time for the National League to step up. A number of the AL’s top players are dealing with injuries that will keep them out of the game. Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Yordan Alvarez, Kevin Gausman, Shane McClanahan and Framber Valdez will all be sidelined. With those big names off the field, the NL’s roster suddenly has an advantage. It should have the upper hand offensively with Ronald Acuna Jr, Corbin Carroll and Mookie Betts leading the way at the plate. Matt Horner: National League ML (-110, FanDuel)

After having lost the All-Star game nine times in a row, I feel like we could see the NL finally take home a W. The sharp money is leaning in favor of the NL, with 61% of bets and 69% of the money. That’s a really nice number, and I think it has caused the books to move this line as far as it has. The NL opened as slight underdogs, but the best odds you can find right now on them is pretty much -110. Some places even have them as -118 favorites, so you can see where the cash is going. I’ll swim with the sharps and take the NL to get the victory.

Lucy Burdge: American League ML & u7.5 (+212, FanDuel SGP)

I always always bet on the American League out of tradition, but also the AL is on a nine-ASG winning streak and is 47-43-2 all-time. I also like the under 7.5 runs, as this under has hit in the last three All-Star Games and in five of the last six. So I love both of these as a parlay for this year’s Midsummer Classic!

The line has been moving toward the NL to win, making this game even at -110 on both moneylines at both places.
