Three official weeks of the college football season have passed and there are three names that have clearly emerged as the Heisman Trophy frontrunners. Take a look at them below, paired with their live odds at BetMGM.

Ohio State QB CJ Stroud (+250)

Week 3 Performance: 22-27, 367 Pass Yards, 5 TD, 0 INT (77-21 W vs. Toledo)

Season Statistics: 62-85 (72.9%), 941 Pass Yards, 11 TD, 0 INT (Ohio State 3-0)

Stroud continued his efficient play in Ohio State’s blowout win over Toledo on Saturday, throwing as many incompletions as touchdown passes with 367 yards of brilliance. He’s been the favorite since Heisman odds opened and given the Buckeyes’ perfect 3-0 record and his 11 touchdowns and 0 interceptions, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t still have the shortest odds heading into Week 4.

USC QB Caleb Williams (+300)

Week 3 Performance: 25-37, 284 Pass Yards, 2 TD, 0 INT (45-17 W vs. Fresno State)

Season Statistics: 64-86 (74.4%), 874 Pass Yards, 8 TD, 0 INT, 2 Rush TD (USC 3-0)

Mr. Williams moved up! After having the third-shortest odds last week, the USC quarterback moved ahead of defending Heisman winner Bryce Young after he led the Trojans to a victory over Fresno State. Playing for Heisman whisperer Lincoln Riley, Williams will be put in a great situation to put up numbers all year long and has accumulated 10 total touchdowns with no interceptions so far.

Alabama QB Bryce Young (+450)

Week 3 Performance: 13-18, 236 Pass Yards, 3 TD, 2 INT (63-7 W vs. Louisiana-Monroe)

Season Statistics: 58-85 (68.2%), 644 Pass Yards, 9 TD, 2 INT, 2 Rush TD (Alabama 3-0)

The good news: Bama beat Louisiana-Monroe 63-7 in Week 3. The bad news: Young threw his first two interceptions and only amassed 236 passing yards and three passing touchdowns in the win. Since this is projected to be a three-man race for the Heisman all year long, performances like that could have a negative impact down the road, especially if Stroud and Williams continue protecting the football like they have been. Of course, there’s a ton of time to go in the year and this could be a great price to get for Young if you think Bama will run the table and he will have Heisman moments moving forward.
