Dan Karpuc: Astros -110 ML at Phillies
I picked the Astros to win this series and I’m not backing down now. Cristian Javier will toe the rubber for Houston against Philadelphia’s Aaron Nola, who got lit up for six hits and five earned runs in 4.1 innings in Game 1. Yes, this crowd is going to be insane again, but there’s simply more value in backing Houston as a pick 'em in this spot. Sportsbooks do an amazing job setting lines at this stage of the season, so I’m not going to go crazy with any hot take… at least for today.

Lucy Burdge: Astros -110 ML vs. Phillies
The Astros are coming off a rough Game 3 against the Phillies in which the Phillies shut them out, 7-0, while hitting five homers. I don’t think the Astros are going to let that happen again. Cristian Javier will be on the mound for Houston and he had a solid start against the Yankees in the ALCS when he gave up no runs in 5.1 innings and got the win against them. When Nola faced the Astros in Game 1, he gave up five runs off six hits, including two home runs, in 4.1 innings. So not exactly great. With all of this in mind I really like the Astros to get the win here and tie this series back up.

Brad Pinkerton: Under 7.5

Despite the relatively wild scoring in this series so far, the over is just 1-1-1 and, oddly enough, it was the game featuring a record-tying five homers from one team that hit the under. Go figure. All that means is that without any clear trend emerging in this series, I'm sticking with season-long trends and leaning to the under in Game 3 with aces Javier and Nola on the mound. Again, 61.1% of Houston's games have gone under, most in baseball, plus they are 29-51 O/U on the road, 55-86 O/U as favorites and 21-41 O/U as road favs. One of these games is going to be a pitchers' duel, dammit.

To that point, I'm also looking at each starter's K props to include with the under to take advantage of DraftKings Stepped-Up Same-Game Parlay promo today. An SGP with Under 7.5, Nola 5+ Ks and Javier 6+ Ks is normally +275, but it's boosted 20% to +330 with this promo.
