Odds to Win 2023 World Series

Will the Astros be able to defend their World Series title? Or will the Phillies get another go at winning it all? Perhaps the Yankees or Dodgers will reach their full potential after their disappointing exits in 2022. As always, expectations are high, and new rules and formats will only make the season more exciting. Here's a look at the latest odds to win the 2023 World Series with sleeper and longshot bets to consider this offseason.

Who Is Favored to Win the 2023 World Series?

Los Angeles Dodgers

After an incredible regular season in 2022, the Dodgers had an abrupt exit from the playoffs, being knocked out in the AL Division Series by the San Diego Padres. Still, 111 regular-season wins is nothing to scoff at, and if the Dodgers can repeat that sort of heat in 2023, they’ll definitely be a team to watch.

The Dodgers are the current favorites to win the 2023 World Series, which isn’t shocking considering their impressive roster. With some movement expected this offseason — including shortstop Trea Turner entering free agency — it should be interesting to see how they fill holes in their lineup before next year. -- BetMGM

Sleeper: Phillies +1400

After the favorite in the Dodgers, I like the Phillies as a sleeper at +1400. They were so close to doing it this year and they could very well even improve this offseason. With so many big name free agents on the market, if one of them wants to come to the East Coast and jump on board a team that made it to the World Series this past season, I wouldn't rule out the Phillies to make a real run next season.

Longshot: Red Sox +3500

I know it sounds crazy, but it is a longshot pick and it's not like their odds are in the +5000-+7000 range. They don't have the worst odds to win it and there is still a chance they might keep both Rafael Devers and Xander Bogaerts. Until one or both of them is gone and the front office doesn't fill that gap and improve the team, I wouldn't rule them out. And Kiké Hernández did say Chaim Bloom promised him the team would be much better next season. So I wouldn't overlook the Red Sox just yet to win the World Series.
