It's OK, we will get you that money back from the sportsbooks today. In this article, we will discuss some important betting trends today that you should consider when making your wagers. For instance, one trend I made sure to note when betting the Chiefs this weekend was that Patrick Mahomes was 7-1-1 ATS as an underdog in his career; he's now 8-1-1.

Remember, these trends don't take into account how high a line might be priced. Some trends may have a huge moneyline associated with them. In that case, I recommend pairing that team with the trend on them with another, for a small two-team parlay. Most sportsbooks have parlay boosts as well, so you can still get value.

Sabres at Kings NHL Betting Trend

Let's start things out on the ice today, where we see the Buffalo Sabres traveling to take on the Los Angeles Kings. This is one of our better trends of the day that has made us a great profit over time, however, it is one that today I would be a bit hesitant to bet on, as I laid out in our NHL Betting Guide for the day.

Head coach Dan Granato is 6-1 SU immediately after a blowout loss by at least five goals while coaching the Sabres. This trend is obviously really good, and the Sabres do tend to come back strong after getting destroyed. My problem is that the Sabres have had issues on the road against good teams this season, and this is another one of those games. It's tough to fade this since we are up 11.8 units on it, but I will pass tonight. If you choose to go with the Sabres because of this, I wouldn't say it is a bad bet.

Miami at North Carolina NCAAB Betting Trend

There are a few good games today in college basketball, but none that are really super exciting. One of the better games of the day is this one, where we see Miami traveling to North Carolina to take on the Tar Heels. This ACC matchup should be a good game, but it is curious as to why the ranked Hurricanes are underdogs to unranked UNC. That kind of stuff you have to take into account, but we have a trend on Miami today that may swing you in their favor at good plus-money: Head coach Jim Larranaga is 18-5 SU coming off a home win scoring 85 or more points while coaching Miami.

He's been lights-out after having a huge offensive performance in a home win, and he'll have to have one here tonight against North Carolina if he wants to upset the blue blood Heels. I wouldn't blame you to take the points here instead of the moneyline, but perhaps it is worth a sprinkle.

Pelicans at Thunder NBA Betting Trend

There are a ton of games in the NBA today as we approach the All-Star break, so there are a ton of trends to choose from. However, we are going to head to Oklahoma City, where we see the Thunder trying to defend their home court against the visiting New Orleans Pelicans. The Thunder have been one of the NBA's most surprising teams this season, and they have been very valuable in many spots as well. On of our most profitable teams to be sure, and we will rely on them tonight as well.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are 21-16 SU versus teams shooting at least 46% this season. OKC has thrived playing other good offensive squads, and that is what the Thunder will be facing tonight against the Pelicans.
