Kate Constable: Miami +5.5 at UNC

Miami has won four straight games and is just a half-game back from leading the ACC. The Hurricanes have only lost four games in conference play and while each of those came on the road, those losses all came by a combined 13 points, which makes me believe they can keep this one close tonight. Miami also has the better backcourt duo in Isaiah Wong and Nigel Pack. Those two have been far more consistent than Caleb Love and RJ Davis. Miami is also the better 3-point shooting team, shooting nearly 40% from deep, and is the 12th-best team in the country at converting second-chance opportunities, according to Haslametrics. Take the points with the Hurricanes tonight.

Matt Horner: UNC -5.5 vs. Miami

Why are the Tar Heels huge -5.5 favorites against No. 19 Miami? Welp, it’s because they are going to win this game. Armando Bacot should be able to score at will around the rim in this game, as Miami’s interior defense is very small, like the rest of their lineup. I can also see taking the over, as that has moved up a couple points already, but I’ll also lay the points with UNC. We have already seen the line move from 4.5 to 5.5.

Lucy Burdge: Baylor -6.5 vs. West Virginia 

Baylor is 13-11-1 ATS this season and 9-6 ATS at home, having covered four of its last five spreads at home and seven of the last 10 spreads overall. Meanwhile, West Virginia is 12-13 ATS this season and 4-5 ATS on the road. West Virginia has failed to cover five of its last seven on the road and three of their last five overall, so I like Baylor to have the upper hand here and cover this spread. 

Brad Pinkerton: Baylor -6.5 vs. WV & o148.5

Baylor is starting to turn things around, winning and covering in three straight, and I think the Bears make that four straight tonight. West Virginia, which was just blasted by 34 at Texas last time out, is just 2-5 ATS against ranked teams this season, 3-7 as the underdog, and 2-5 as the road 'dog. I think this is a comfortable win for Baylor, so you can lay the points with the home team here, but another way to play it is to parlay Baylor on the moneyline with the over on any total less than 147 or so for some cushion. Thanks to poor D, WVU's last five game have sailed over by an average of nearly 11 points, and these teams are a combined 19-7 to the over on equal rest. So even though both teams are playing on just one day of rest, I think they can still hit the over in a Baylor win.
