Let’s not sugar-coat it.
Last week's 38-3 loss to the Saints was a disaster for the Green Bay Packers.
It was embarrassing.
It was ugly.
However, when the Packers welcome the Lions to Lambeau Field on Monday night, history will be on their side.
Under head coach Matt LaFleur, the Green Bay Packers have gone 6-0 ATS after allowing 30+ points in their previous game, 6-0 ATS and SU after a loss and 11-1 SU against NFC North opponents.
Last season, MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers had some of his best games in these bounce-back situations. In all, the Packers outscored their opponents 110-62 in three games following their losses and Rodgers was brilliant, going 69-94 passing for 799 yards, 12 interceptions and no interceptions.
BetQL is projecting Rodgers to throw for 280 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in this game.
Running back Aaron Jones is projected to chip in with 13 rushes for 70 yards and a rushing touchdown to go along with three catches for 20 yards. Further, wide receiver Davante Adams is projected to haul in six passes for 90 yards and a touchdown for Green Bay.
In all, the Pakcers are projected to put up 33 points, but BetQL is also expecting Detroit to score a decent number of points as well.
