Team To Draft Bo Nix: Las Vegas Raiders (+550, FanDuel)

There are so many teams that could be considering QBs in this draft, but there are not enough of them to go around. Some guys simply are not worth a first-round selection, in my opinion, and some like-minded teams will gamble that they can grab one in the second round. I also feel that some teams are more desperate for QB help than others, and that will weigh heavily in their decisions to select a QB and where they will pick them.

I think we all know that Caleb Williams is going No. 1 overall, most likely to the Bears, and I would expect him to go in that slot even if the Bears trade out of the pick. I think that Jayden Daniels will go at No. 2, so he would be the new starter for the Washington Commanders after Sam Howell proved that he isn't the guy last year.

While New England certainly needs a QB, I don't think they are as desperate for one as other teams, and the lure of Marvin Harrison Jr. at No. 3 overall may be too enticing for them with the best QBs off the board and questions about Drake Maye. I think Atlanta will make a move and trade up to No. 4 with Arizona if MHJ is selected at No. 3 to draft Maye.

The Chargers don't need a QB, and with the Giants locked into Daniel Jones' contract, I doubt they will pick a QB this high. Tennessee will likely try and support young QB Will Levis, so I could see someone like Malik Nabers going to them.

Arizona, after trading down with Atlanta, would likely pick WR Rome Odunze with their first pick to give Kyler some help. The Bears already would have Williams, so solidifying his offensive line should be a priority, maybe Penn State OT Olumuyiwa Fashanu could be the pick. The Jets have Aaron Rodgers coming back, so again, an offensive lineman like Taliese Fuaga could be the pick after how bad their OL has been.

Minnesota is the big threat to hurt us here, as they definitely could select a QB at this spot. However, I think they may take Michael Penix Jr. instead of Nix. Denver also hasn't released Russell Wilson yet, and they also have Jarrett Stidham, who played decent football late last season, so I think they may try and fix that horrible defense by taking someone like Jer'Zhan Newton or Terrion Arnold instead.

That would allow Nix to fall to the Raiders, who I think would take him at No. 13 overall. They have rid themselves of Jimmy Garoppolo, and I don't think Aiden O'Connell proved to be the future last season in Las Vegas. I think they will take a chance on a QB, and it all depends on who that will be. Right now, I think Minnesota is the team that could derail us here, but at +550, I think it is certainly worth a shot on the Raiders being Bo's next team.
