The Cincinnati Bengals and Tennessee Titans will face off on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. EST at Nissan Stadium. The Titans (12-5) are 3.5-point favorites over the Bengals (10-7) with the moneylines at Titans -190 and Bengals +160. The O/U on this total is set at 47 points.
And the Bengals might be underdogs here, but they have a real shot to beat out the Titans in this game and continue their run to the Super Bowl.
Burrow’s mentality heading into this should inspire confidence in fans and bettors on this game.
"I think the fans were very excited, but I tried to downplay it and all that because this is how it’s going to be from here on out," Burrow told the media during a press conference of the Bengals' win over the Raiders. "It was a great win for us, but this is the standard. The bare minimum every year going forward."
I love it.
The Bengals and their leader coming into this Titans matchup with confidence and not settling for one playoff win is a very promising sign they can keep pace with Tennessee and beat them.
Meanwhile, Ryan Tannehill said to the media of his team's play, "... It hasn't always been perfect and pretty -- it's football, it never is. So the fact that we can continue to find ways to win has been a lot of fun."
If the Bengals can take advantage of those imperfections and keep them from finding ways to win, I see them pulling off a win. Burrow's attitude seems a bit more rock-solid than Tannehill's.
The Bengals were also 6-2 ATS on the road this season and 10-7 ATS overall. And they are 10-3 as an underdog of 3.5 to 9.5 points over the last two years. On the moneyline, Cincinnati is 7-2 when playing against a team with a winning record this season and 6-1 when playing against a team with a winning record in the second half of the season this year.
I also see Ja’Marr Chase going over the 89.5 receiving yards total in this week's edition of BetQL's Giving Props contest. He hit this over in three of his last four games and he’s the favorite (-189) to win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
With Chase, Burrow and the rest of this team entering this game on the upswing, I have a feeling they can successfully take the Titans down and move forward in this postseason on Saturday, while shortening their +1586 consensus Super Bowl odds.
