While the final score was closer than the game actually was throughout, coach Josh Heupel has this Tennessee team off to a perfect 4-0 start. Using Heupel’s patented up-tempo offense, quarterback Hendon Hooker (22-28, 349 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 13 carries, 112 yards, TD) was an absolute star and secured the Volunteers’ second win over Florida in 18 years.

With 349 passing yards and 227 rushing yards (576 total), Tennessee proved that they can hang with a solid SEC opponent due to their dynamic offense. That will certainly be an important component of their chances against Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky, all of which are still on their schedule.

Up next is a matchup against LSU on the road after a bye week.
