Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud has emerged as the clear Heisman favorite heading into Week 5.
The junior completed 17 of 27 passes for 281 yards, five touchdowns and an interception in a 52-21 win over Wisconsin on Saturday and now has thrown for 1,222 yards with 16 touchdowns and that lone interception while leading the Buckeyes to a perfect 4-0 record with quality wins over Notre Dame and the Badgers.
Alabama QB Bryce Young (15 total TD, 2 INT) is trying to defend his Heisman and will remain in the conversation, but right now Stroud has the edge. Up next for Ohio State is a matchup against Rutgers, who just lost to Iowa by the score of 27-10.
