College Basketball Sharp Bet: Texas A&M -2 vs. Tennessee

The sharps are going with the Texas A&M Aggies in tonight's CBB action against the Tennessee Volunteers. A whopping 94% of the total money wagered on the game is on the Aggies ATS, but just 27% of tickets are on that side. In contrast, just 6% of the money is on the Volunteers ATS but a huge 73% of bets are on that side. That gives us a pretty gigantic 67% "Pro-money advantage" on the Aggies, by subtracting the bet% from the money%.

Tickets on the Aggies are worth more money overall than those on the Volunteers, so we know where the big money is going. We have already seen this line move in favor of the Aggies as well, showing that the respected money is on their side in this matchup.

This is a tough game for me to cap. The line has moved recently in favor of the Aggies but was moving toward Tennessee early. Normally, I would agree with the sharps here and take the Aggies as the lower-ranked team that is favored, but something tells me this is a trap. The Vols have looked awful lately, with some pretty bad losses, while Texas A&M has been flying high. The public knows this as well. I think Tennessee is overrated for sure, but this just seems like an excellent spot for the Vols. I would be wary here.

College Basketball Sharp Bet: Oklahoma -2.5 vs. Texas Tech

The college basketball slate tonight is a pretty poor one overall, but the sharps are finally taking a few games that feature big name schools that we actually might watch. Last week they were all over these small schools, and while a few of them won, it was tough to bet on teams we have never heard of before. With Texas A&M and Oklahoma, we are back on track here with the mainstream teams.

A huge 64% of the money is on the Sooners here, but just 29% of the total tickets are on that side. That means that those tickets are very expensive, and a whole lot of high-rollers are laying down wads of cash on that side of the aisle. In contrast, only about 36% of the money has been wagered on the Red Raiders as of this writing, but 71% of tickets have been placed taking them to cover. That means those tickets are being placed by the public. That gives us a 35% pro-money advantage on the Sooners, making them the sharp side tonight.

Boomer Sooner? Why is 13-14 Oklahoma a favorite over 15-12 Texas Tech, which has won three straight? The sharps certainly seem to think there is a reason.

NHL Sharp Bet: Sabres ML vs. Maple Leafs

If you don't bet on hockey, you are missing out on some insane value each and every night. We get plus-money bets hitting on a nightly basis with our NHL picks, and it's been a very profitable season with our NHL Playbook. The sharps tonight are riding with the Buffalo Sabres on the ice tonight on their home ice against the Maple Leafs.

As of this writing, 92% of the money is on the Sabres in this one, but just 58% of the total tickets. In comparison, 8% of the money is liking the Maple Leafs to cover in the game, but 42% of tickets are riding with that side. That means that the tickets that are worth a substantially higher amount of money are siding with the Sabres in the game, as 92% of the money wagered is on 58% of the tickets placed.

I personally like the Maple Leafs in this game, as the Sabres are a team that I only like betting in certain spots against bad teams. Toronto is a Stanley Cup contender, and that isn't the type of team that Buffalo has had success against this season. Clearly, the sharps disagree, so feel free to tail them if you are more comfortable with that.
