Baylor at Kansas State Prediction

Saturday’s loss to Kansas was about as bad as it gets for Baylor. The Bears blew a 17-point first-half lead and lost by 16 after being outscored 55-26 in the second half. They never should have let that happen, but Kansas also hardly missed in the final 20 minutes. Tonight’s game against Kansas State presents a nice bounce-back opportunity for the Bears. They lost to the Wildcats in overtime earlier this year, so there is going to be a little added motivation to get the job done tonight. Plus, Baylor’s offense is one of the best in the country and for as good as K-State's defense is, it struggles in two key areas: the Wildcats aren’t great at keeping teams off the offense boards or the free-throw line. Both are areas where Baylor excels, which is why I’ll take them to cover on the road tonight.

My pick: Baylor -1.5

Tennessee at Texas A&M Prediction

This is a buy-low spot on Tennessee after its loss to Kentucky on Saturday. However, that was a quintessential let-down spot for the Vols after they manhandled Alabama just a few days earlier. Tennessee has the best defense in the country and I think that's going to be too much for Texas A&M to handle. If you look at the Aggies schedule, they haven't really played anyone quite as good as the Vols. They have losses to Kentucky and Arkansas and have yet to play Alabama. Texas A&M is getting a little bit too much credit, so take the Vols to get a much-needed win on the road tonight.

My Pick: Tennessee +1.5

East Carolina at Tulsa Prediction

I have to give credit where credit is due and today that goes to BetQL's Rick Czapski for putting me on this play. East Carolina is only a 1.5-point favorite on the road tonight vs. Tulsa and I am all over the Pirates. Admittedly, I haven't watched much Tulsa basketball this season, but its record tells me everything I need to know. The Golden Eagles are just 3-21-2 ATS this season and 1-9-2 ATS at home. They are also just 1-14 straight up in conference play. That is just straight-up bad. The Pirates would be a larger favorite if it wasn't for their starting point guard and leading score Javon Small being out tonight. However, RJ Felton is his replacement and he's played really well lately. The last time these teams met, East Carolina won by 10 and Felton had 23 points. I will be shocked if the Pirates don't cover this game.

My Pick: East Carolina -1.5
