NBA Sharp Bet: Heat ATS vs. Rockets

The sharps are riding with the Miami Heat in tonight's NBA action against the Houston Rockets. A whopping 90% of the total money wagered on the game is on the Heat, but just 57% of tickets are on that side. In contrast, just 10% of the money is on the Rockets, but a large 43% of tickets are backing that side. That means we have a fairly big 33% "Pro Money Advantage" on the Heat, by taking the percentage of money wagered and subtracting the bet percentage.

Tickets on the Heat are worth more money overall than those on the Rockets, so we know where the big money is going. We have already seen this line move in favor of the Heat as well, showing that the respected money is on their side in this matchup.

I am a bit shocked with this one, as you know the public has got to be on the Heat here against the awful Rockets. However, the numbers are clear, and the sharp side today in the NBA is certainly for the Heat to obliterate the Rockets by at least 13 points. Houston has been horrendous on the road, but the last time these two met up, Miami won by just three points.

College Basketball Sharp Bet: Canisius ATS vs. Iona

In what has to be one of the worst college basketball slates of the year, Iona is traveling to take on Canisius. You probably won't be tuning into this one, but that's perfectly fine. Often times, that can be where the sharps find the most value on a limited slate of games.

A huge 55% of the money is on the Golden Griffins here, but just 28% of the total tickets are on that side. That means that those tickets are very expensive, and a whole lot of high-rollers are laying down wads of cash on that side of the aisle. In contrast, only about 45% of the money has been wagered on the Gaels as of this writing, but 72% of tickets have been placed taking them to cover. That means those tickets are being placed by the public, normal people who need a degenerate thrill for the night on a boring slate. That gives us a 27% pro-money advantage on the Golden Griffins, making them the sharp side tonight.

The Golden Griffins, what an amazing name. I won't sit here and pretend that any of us are going to be watching this game (except for alumni, I guess). Tailing the sharp plays is profitable in the long term, and you don't have to watch the game to win the bet. That's what we will be doing here tonight.

NHL Sharp Bet: Coyotes ML at Blackhawks

If you don't bet on hockey, you are missing out on some insane value each and every night. As of this writing, 92% of the money is on the Coyotes in this one, but just 69% of the total tickets. In comparison, 8% of the money is liking the Blackhawks to cover in the game, but 31% of tickets are riding with that side. That means that the tickets that are worth a substantially higher amount of money are siding with the Coyotes in the game, as 92% of the money wagered is on 69% of the tickets placed.

I just don't see how anyone can lay money with the Arizona Coyotes on the road. No thank you, I'll pass on this one, or if anything take the Blackhawks at home. However, the sharps seem to think they are the right side, so I'm just reporting to you what they believe. There is a reason the money is headed that way, so we will have to see what happens when two terrible hockey teams clash.
