Bucks at Clippers Prediction

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (38-7 SU, 30-22-3 ATS, 27-28 O/U) take on the Los Angeles Clippers (31-27 SU, 29-29 ATS, 25-32 O/U) tonight for their second straight game at crytpo.com Arena.

The Bucks are on a back-to-back, but they played the Lakers last night in L.A., so they didn’t have to travel. Giannis also doesn’t seem like the kind of person to partake in the L.A. nightlife too much, which is typically a concern for teams spending the night there. The Bucks have been on a tear lately, winning nine straight and covering in five of their last seven games. The Clippers are in a little bit of a transition after trading Reggie Jackson and Luke Kennard yesterday. While those players don’t exactly move the needle a ton for me, the Clippers are still going through an adjustment with new faces on the roster. The Lakers and Suns were both heavily involved in trades and both lost yesterday; I think we’ll see a similar story for the Clippers.

My Pick: Bucks +2.5 or ML

Rockets at Heat Prediction

The Miami Heat (30-25 SU, 20-33-2 ATS, 24-30 O/U) welcome the Houston Rockets (13-42 SU, 21-30-4 ATS, 27-28 O/U) to South Beach on Friday night for the final meeting of the season between the two teams.

The Rockets are coming off an epic collapse in the final minute against the Kings, losing by two after being up for the majority of the game. Houston loses a lot, but that one had to be extra deflating. Now it has to travel to Miami to play a Heat team whose offense looked efficient in its last game against the Pacers. Defensively, the Heat are giving up the second fewest points in the league, which is why I think Houston will have trouble putting up enough points to cover this spread. Lay the big number with Miami.

My Pick: Miami -12

Mavericks at Kings Prediction

The new-look Dallas Mavericks (30-26 SU, 21-32-3 ATS, 30-26 O/U) travel to the West Coast to meet the Sacramento Kings (31-23 SU, 30-24 ATS, 25-28 O/U) for the first time this season.

Our BetQL model loves the over in this game tonight and I agree with it. Both of these teams are much more offensive-minded than they are defensive. I know Luka Doncic is likely still out tonight, but adding Kyrie Irving to the mix ensures that Dallas' offense isn’t going to drop off a cliff without Luka in the game. I recognize that this is a small sample size, but over the last two games, the Mavs are first in fast-break points and the Kings are third. They’re also both top-10 in points off turnovers, so these teams are going to want to get out and run tonight, which is why I like the over 233.5.
