Another day of NBA action means another day of tough decisions for bettors. To help you make the best bets today, the BetQL editors have picked a few of their favorite NBA bets below using key trends, data and picks from the BetQL NBA model.
One trend to note is that the BetQL NBA model is on fire, going 151-108 (59%) combined on spread and total picks rated ⭐⭐ and higher in the last 30 days for a total return of $2,927 on $100 bets! Dan Karpuc: Celtics-Thunder Under 235.5
The under has gone a dominant 13-3-1 in Boston’s road games and 5-3 in the last eight OKC home games. BetQL is also listing this as the best bet, which makes me even more confident in it. The Celtics have had the third-best Defensive Rating on the road this season, while the Thunder have the eighth-worst Offensive Rating at home, so this is a clear mismatch, as the wide spread indicates. With Robert Williams back, Boston’s defense is going to get better and better and I simply think it’s going to be difficult for this young Thunder squad to keep up with the superior opposition.

Kate Constable: Bucks 1Q -2 vs. Wizards
Milwaukee has been pretty bad lately, but I still like this spot for the Bucks. They are coming off a home loss to the Wizards on Sunday without Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo. It almost felt like Milwaukee was fine throwing that game away and focusing on tonight’s matchup. I’d expect Giannis and Holiday to play tonight, which sets up nicely for a bounce-back revenge spot. Look for the Bucks to try and pounce on the Wizards early.

Lucy Burdge: Wizards +8 at Bucks
The Wizards have won and covered the spread in their last five games, while the Bucks have failed to cover in five of their last six, so I see a major momentum advantage for the Wizards to cover tonight. Washington has also covered its last three road games. With all of this considered, I like the Wizards to cover this spread in Milwaukee.

Here is my play for today, using the strategy of "middling" the game total (can only lose a maximum of one leg there), and taking the most points on both teams (can only lose one leg here too); you can apply this strategy to any NBA game, any night:
