NBA: Magic +205 (Caesars) at Kings

We'll start things off today with an NBA underdog to consider for tonight. This is a pretty small slate to choose from here, so there aren't a ton of options, but there is certainly value to be had. My favorite underdog play would be the Orlando Magic going up against the Sacramento Kings. I'm not exactly sure why the Kings should be laying such a large number over anyone, to be honest. I guess if you are a true believer in their hot start, sure, but I'm not sold. Both teams have lost three of their last five games. Orlando has a ton of young talent, and they are only getting better. Paolo Banchero looks like a bona-fide superstar already, while young guys like Jalen Suggs and the underappreciated Bol Bol also have been showing out.

This line has moved from Kings -7 to -6 in many places, so some early money is coming in on the Magic. At this price, this is a plus-money dog that is worth a sprinkle.

NCAAB: Oral Roberts +205 (BetRivers) at New Mexico

This is a very poor college basketball slate, and this game is actually the only one that features a ranked team. However, I think it could be a really good one. Oral Roberts, one of the darlings of March Madness from a few years ago, will be taking on No. 21 New Mexico. I am not a fan of the Lobos, and I think they certainly could be had by a 13-3 Oral Roberts team that is no slouch. Max Abmas is doing his thing, as he has been since the whole country discovered him a few years ago. New Mexico is a disaster defensively, and more importantly, terrible at defending the 3-point shot; they rank 271st in the county defending from beyond the arc.

Quite frankly, I don't think New Mexico is really that good, so I'll take the great value here with Oral Roberts at +205 at BetRivers. We have seen this number move from 6.5 to 5.5 at some books, so grab it quick.

NHL: Flyers +200 (DraftKings) at Sabres

Let's head to the ice for our last pick of the night. The Philadelphia Flyers are traveling to Buffalo to take on the Sabres. Both of these teams have been hot lately, winning four of their last five games. Buffalo has been better overall this season, but they still haven't been that great. This is a team that is allowing 3.4 goals per game and 33.3 shots against per contest. The defense stinks out loud, and the offense has had to carry them most nights. They score 4.0 goals per game and are getting 32.1 shots on net per game.

Philly isn't a good team either, but it's all about value. Do the Sabres really deserve to be this big of a favorite over anyone right now? In my opinion, they don't. and I think getting this type of number against the Sabres is really good value. Sure, they could win, but it's definitely worth a sprinkle.
