  • After winning the NBA title, the Milwaukee Bucks are heavy Central Division favorites at -1000.

  • Milwaukee also has the third-best odds to win the NBA title in 2021-22.

  • The Bulls made some major additions this offseason, but was that enough to propel them past the Bucks in the division?

The Eastern Conference got better this offseason, there's no denying that. The Chicago Bulls were one of those improved teams, bringing in big names that included Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan. But, was that enough to propel them past the Milwaukee Bucks in the Central Division?

No.

Let's not get carried away here. The Bulls could be a playoff team (+105 on FanDuel), but they're nowhere near the Bucks -- nor is anyone else in the division, even after offseason additions.

Bucks' NBA Title Odds

The Bucks could repeat as NBA champions. They're +800 at the moment, with only the Lakers (+450) and Nets (+210) ahead of them on FanDuel.

Will it be harder to win the title this year? Definitely, if those other contenders avoid the devastating injuries of last season. But the Central Division is the Bucks' to lose, as long they stay healthy.

Giannis Is Obviously The Key

The two-time MVP is obviously who carries this team, but he still needs consistency out of guys like Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Donte DiVincenzo to push Milwaukee far into the postseason again.

One team to at least keep an eye on in this division would be the Indiana Pacers (+1200). They may not have an MVP candidate on their roster, but their lineup is loaded with talent, and they have the potential to push Milwaukee throughout the season.
