NHL: Devils ML (-162, BetRivers) at Red Wings

Let's start things off on the ice, where we have very limited options to pick from here on this rivalry Wednesday. There are just three games today, but the good news is that we were able to find a pretty good NHL trend. Heading to Detroit, we find the Red Wings defending their home ice against the New Jersey Devils. This ML is pretty juicy, I'll admit, so be cautious about laying that much into the number. However, our best hockey trend of the day is on the Devils to take care of business against an overmatched and overrated Red Wings squad.

The New Jersey Devils are 9-0 SU on the road this season against poor defensive teams allowing 2.85+ goals/game. The Devils have an explosive offense, and they can really take advantage of a Detroit roster that still has plenty of holes to fill before the Red Wings become competitors again. They give up a lot of goals, and New Jersey has been hammering these teams all year, peppering them with shots and getting to the net.

NCAAB: No. 13 Arkansas ML (-325, DraftKings) vs. No. 20 Missouri

Next up, we'll head to the hardwood for a trend that you may want to consider taking in a parlay instead of straight up. The reason being, the ML for the Arkansas Razorbacks in this game against Missouri is a whopping -325, which I would highly advise staying away from. That's fine if you want to put in an ML parlay -- DraftKings offers a boost on college hoops parlays most days -- to get better odds under -150 or so, but never bet into a -300 or higher. There is zero value. Still, this is a very valuable trend on this line, so it may be a great lay piece. Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman is 9-1 SU after a game where his team made 20% or less of their 3-point shots while coaching Arkansas.

Basically, after his team has a rough performance behind the arc, they bounce back with a win in the next game a majority of the time. We're up 10.5 units on this bet already this season, and it has a ROI% of an incredible 61.8%.

NBA: Trail Blazers ML (+100, Caesars) at Timberwolves

The Portland Trail Blazers will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight, and they are very slight underdogs on the road. We've talked about this trend a couple of times now, and I really can't explain the phenomena around it, but it just cashes: The Blazers are 22-14 on the road after a nonconference game over the last three years. As I said, there really isn't some sort of way I can explain why the Trail Blazers are so good after a non-conference game while on the road, but they just are. We are up a fantastic 27.7 units on this trend over that time span, and it has a ROI% of 72.9%, which is incredible.
