Bruins at Lightning Preview

The Bruins (16-2 SU, 15-3 PL, 9-9 O/U) are the best team in hockey right now and have won and covered a -1.5 goal puck line in each of their last six games heading into this Eastern Conference showdown.

The Lightning (11-7 SU, 7-11 PL, 9-8-1 O/U) are riding a four-game winning streak of their own, but needed overtime to earn two of the victories. Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark leads the NHL in GAA (1.89) and wins (12, three more than any other goaltender), so while the Lightning have plenty of offensive firepower, they will be met with resistance between the pipes.

My Lean: Bruins PL. I’m a sucker for trends and since the Bruins have won and covered the puck line six straight times, I’m in on them.

Oilers at Devils Preview

The Oilers (10-8 SU, 9-9 PL, 9-7-2 O/U) have not had much consistency this year, but have followed a loss-win-loss-win-loss-win pattern over their last six games. Edmonton will look to avoid the loss that pattern suggests will happen against the Devils (15-3 SU, 12-6 PL, 8-9-1 O/U), who are riding a 12-game winning streak into this matchup.

Interestingly, Oilers teammates Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl rank 1st and 2nd in the NHL in points (34 and 30, respectively), and McDavid leads the league in goals (16). So, New Jersey will most likely need to find the back of the net multiple times in order to win this game since those superstars are almost impossible to completely limit.

My Lean: Devils ML. Riding that 12-game win streak, I’d recommend including New Jersey’s moneyline in your NHL or multi-sport parlays today.

Avalanche at Stars Preview

The Avalanche (10-6 SU, 9-7 PL, 8-9 O/U) have won six of their last seven games and have covered a -1.5 puck line in five of those contests as well, as their Stanley Cup-winning offense reemerged. With 29 goals Avs scored in that span (4.1 per game), the Stars (11-7 SU, 13-5 PL, 10-6-2 O/U) will have their hands full.

Dallas boasts their own stellar offense, though; the Stars have scored 4.2 goals per contest over their last nine contests and went 6-3 SU in those games.

My Lean: over the total. I expect a very high-scoring, back-and-forth affair.
