2024-2025 Stanley Cup Final Odds
It's never too early to look ahead at next season's NHL Stanley Cup Finals odds, especially if you're a Panthers fan. Florida is the favorite to hoist the Cup once again at +900 with the Avalanche, Stars and Oilers right behind at +1000 on BetMGM.
Seeing these teams at the top of the odds board isn't a huge surprise. The Avalanche are just two years removed from winning it all, taking home the Cup in 2022.
The Stars lost to the Oilers in Game 6 of this year's Western Conference Finals and appeared in the Stanley Cup Finals in 2019-20.
With Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl on the roster for Edmonton, the Oilers have the talent to make another deep playoff run against next season. McDavid took home the Conn Smythe Trophy in this year's final, becoming just the 6th player in NHL history to win the award despite being on the losing team.
These four squads are certainly worth considering because, since 2010, only five teams with odds greater than 10-1 at the start of the season have gone on to win the Cup.
Longshot Finals Pick
If you're interested in backing a team further down the board, the Golden Knights provide slightly more value at 16-1 on DraftKings. Vegas had a disappointing exit in this year's playoffs, losing in the first round to the Stars. However, the Golden Knights won the title in 2023 and have made multiple deep runs over the last five seasons.
They also have a ton of talent with Jack Eichel, Tomas Hertl, William Karlsson and Mark Stone all set to return. Re-signing Jonathan Marchessault, who is an unrestricted free agent, will need to be a top priority.
At 16-1, the Golden Knights make a solid longshot pick to win the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals.
