NBA: Clippers +165 (DraftKings) at Nuggets

We'll start things off today with an NBA underdog to consider for tonight. We only have four NBA games to choose from today and I wanted to take the Mavericks at first. They certainly can be an underdog winner, but I think the Celtics will bounce back after that terrible loss to the Thunder the other night. Instead, I'll take the Clippers here at a pretty good number against the Nuggets over at DraftKings. Of course, I would highly recommend checking the injury report before you bet on the game, as the Clippers are notorious for late adds to their report.

I also like the line movement on this game. The Clippers went from +6 to +5, despite Denver having 66% of the best on their side. That tells me some early professional money is coming in on Los Angeles.

NCAAB: UAB +125 (DraftKings) at Florida Atlantic

We actually just talked about FAU in an article about the best college hoops teams ATS, as the Owls have been the best in the country. But perhaps that streak comes to an end here tonight against the Blazers, who are a very good basketball team. My biggest issue with the Owls is their over-dependence on the 3-point shot, and when you rely on one type of way to score, that is an issue.

However, if you know me, you know I bet almost exclusively on line movement combined with Bet% and Money%. This line has already moved two points toward UAB from +4 to +2, with a whopping 81% of the handle on that side. That money keeps going upward too, so I really like their chances tonight.

NHL: Penguins +105 (FanDuel) at Golden Knights

Let's head to the ice for our last pick of the night. The Penguins have lost five straight games and look dreadful, yet they are just +105 vs. the Golden Knights on the road? It doesn't make much sense to me, and the even better thing about this is that the line keeps moving toward them, which means money is coming in on the Penguins. Most books right now have them at +100, but you can get them at +105 at FanDuel at the time of this writing.

Pittsburgh was red-hot to start the year, but has cooled off. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights have consistently been one of the best teams in the NHL this season.
