Dan Karpuc: Panthers +275 at Bengals
After trading away Christian McCaffrey and Robbie Anderson and firing head coach Matt Rhule, the Panthers have been playing some good football. They beat the Buccaneers, 21-3, at home in a complete shocker two weeks ago and followed that up with a 37-34 overtime loss to the Falcons in which they outplayed their opponent and should have won. If DJ Moore didn’t rip off his helmet and cost his team penalty yards on their extra-point try, the game most likely never would have gone to overtime in the first place and Carolina would be 2-0 in their new era. The Bengals just got killed on both sides of the football in their 32-13 loss to the Browns on Monday Night Football and they clearly didn’t thrive in their first game without Ja’Marr Chase. Don’t write off this Panthers team because they’ve proven to be a hungry bunch with a lot to prove.

Brad Pinkerton: Titans +470 at Chiefs
I'm swinging for the fences on this one because that +470 is too good to pass up if both Derrick Henry (foot) and Ryan Tannehill (ankle) play, as expected. The Titans have quietly won five games in a row and are 3-1 SU on the road and 2-1 as underdogs. Plus, as noted in this week's NFL Betting Playbook, the Titans have won five of the last six head-to-head games with K.C. BetQL also points out these favorable trends: While coaching Tennessee, Mike Vrabel is 18-9 SU against teams averaging at least 7.0 passing yards per attempt; 16-7 against teams averaging at least 6.0 yards per play; and 14-4 after outrushing an opponent by 100+ yards. Keep an eye on Tennessee's injury reports and the moneyline movement because not only are Vrabel's Titans 22-16 SU as underdogs, they are 14-8 when their moneyline is +140 to +325. If Henry and Tannehill are active, the pieces are in place for a major upset Sunday night.
