Denver has allowed 112.4 rushing yards per game this season, which ranks right in the middle of the pack, but has surrendered 144.0 per contest on the road (eighth-worst). After some early-season woes, Ekeler and the Chargers have effectively run against their last two opponents and have won both matchups as a result. The diminutive running back had an incredible outing against the Browns last week in which he took 16 carries for 173 yards (10.8 yards per carry) with a touchdown and also caught four passes for an additional 26 yards and another score. Plus, after simulating this game 10,000 times, BetQL’s NFL Model is projecting Ekeler to rush for 85 yards, well above his 59.5-yard total. That’s the icing on the cake for me.

Lucy Burdge: Chargers -4 vs. Broncos
The Chargers (4-1 ATS) have covered the spread in their last two games, while the Broncos have failed to cover the spread in their last two games, so I think the Chargers have a great chance to cover here. Some trends in their favor to do so are that the team is 12-2 ATS versus division opponents over the last three years and 7-0 ATS versus division opponents while at home over the last three years. The Chargers are also averaging 24.4 points scored per game, while the Broncos are averaging 15.0 points scored per game, so even more reason to like the Chargers to cover this spread.

Brad Pinkerton: Jerry Jeudy Anytime TD (+225 at DraftKings)
To be clear, I do not expect this to be a scoring bonanza, but Jeudy's TD odds jumped out to me with his best price being +225 at DraftKings. The Chargers have allowed 10 passing TDs already, tied for seventh-most (and that's only through five games), so I love the value that Jeudy brings ... if Russell Wilson can at least find his apron Monday night. I'm also intrigued by Courtland Sutton ATTD +185 at DK, but I don't want to get burned too badly by Chef Russ.
