2026 NFC Championship Predictions and Preview

The Super Bowl is just one win away and a team from the NFC West is guaranteed to be representing the NFC this year at Levi's Stadium. These teams split their regular season games, with each team winning at home. For the Rams, they'll be looking to make their second Super Bowl appearance this decade, while the Seahawks are looking to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2015.

To say that these two teams had a different experience in their divisional round games would be an understatement. The Seahawks came into their game rested against a 49ers team on a short week and just wiped the floor with them 41-6, the biggest margin of victory we've seen so far this season, and the worst loss of the season for San Francisco. As for the Rams, they had to travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in the snow and cold of Soldier Field. Chicago pulled off another of their miracle comebacks to tie game with just 18 seconds left, to force overtime. In overtime, the Rams showed their fortitude to win and move on.

Rams QB Matthew Stafford is the odds on favorite to be the MVP this season. He leads the NFL in both passing yards and passing TDS (46) this season. His 71.1 QBR is fourth best in the league, and his just 8 INTs on the season are among the fewest by a starting QB. The Rams offense ranks 1st in points scored per game, 1st in passing and 7th in rushing this season. Their defense is also top 10, allowing just 20.4 points per game on average. Look for Stafford to target WR Puka Nacua often as he leads the NFL in receptions and is 2nd in receiving yards this season. RB Kyren Williams showed his effectiveness in the divisional game against the Bears with 2 rushing TDS. Williams' 1,252 rushing yards are the 6th most for a RB this season.

Looking at the Seahawks, history may be on their side. Seattle has never lost an NFC Championship game. They've played in 3, all at home, and won all of them. QB Sam Darnold led his team to the NFC West Championship and a first round bye in the playoffs that paid off big for the Seahawks against the 49ers. Seattle's offense was 3rd in points scored per game along with being 8th in passing and tied for 10th in rushing this season. Their defense has also been phenomenal ranking first in points allowed per game, allowing just 17.2 points on average. RB Kenneth Walker III had a great game in the divisional round and Jaxon Simth-Njigba lead the NFL in receiving yards this season.

We've got the Seahawks winning this one in a 22.5-20 shootout. Seattle opened as a 1.5 point favorite, and we've seen this line now move to 2.5 points since the open. The total points line has remained steady at 47.5 as these two teams are known for their offensive prowess. With that being said, this game is going to come down to defense and our tip would be to take the Under 47.5 total points, currently at -115 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
