Kate Constable: Baylor ML at West Virginia (+105, Caesars)
Both Baylor and West Virginia are 0-3 in Big 12 play and in dire need of a win. I’d argue that there is a little bit more desperation on the Bears side being this is their worst conference start in 15 years. Their last two losses have been one-possession games against TCU and K-State and the problem in those games was defense and turnovers. Defense is all effort and coming into this game desperate for a win and an answer, I would be shocked if we didn’t see a better defensive effort from the Bears. Offensively, Baylor has the talent and 3-point shooting ability to overpower the Mountaineers, so give me the Bears to win this one outright.

Dan Karpuc: Creighton +2.5 at Xavier
With Ryan Kalkbrenner healthy, Creighton’s talented starting five is back together and includes NBA prospects Arthur Kaluma and Ryan Nembhard, guard Trey Alexander and March Madness standout transfer Baylor Scheierman. This is Greg McDermott’s most talented starting unit ever at Creighton and they are coming off a nine-point loss at No. 6 UConn last time out. Before that, Creighton enjoyed three consecutive double-digit Big East victories and I expect them to make a major statement in this matchup. I’ll be sprinkling some on the Bluejays’ moneyline in this one as well.

Lucy Burdge: Albany +11 vs. Bryant
Albany has covered in six of its last seven games, going 3-0 ATS as double-digit underdogs in that span. Meanwhile, Bryant has failed to cover in three straight and eight of its last 10. Albany has also covered four straight spreads on the road, while Bryant is just 2-3 ATS at home this season, so I think Albany can cover this spread against Bryant tonight.
