Bam Adebayo Over 18.5 Points vs. Warriors

Miami’s center Bam Adebayo has gone over 18.5 points in his last four games against the Warriors including last Thursday, when he dropped 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting (6-of-8 from the free throw line). Adebayo has been outspoken about wanting more looks on the offensive end and is also coming off a 23-point outing in Sacramento last time out. Overall, he’s played exactly 38 minutes in three of his last four starts and now gets a matchup against a Warriors defense that has allowed opposing centers to score 30.52 points per contest. That’s the most points allowed to the position in the entire NBA. 

After his 26-point outburst against Golden State last week, teammate Jimmy Butler told reporters that the team is better when Adebayo is aggressive on the offensive end. "I always want Bam to be like that," Butler said, per Sports Illustrated. "We want everybody to be like that. But along with him playing that way, I want him to play that way in wins, not in losses and I want him to stay aggressive. I just think we've got to be better as a team with him being aggressive." Therefore, getting Adebayo his looks seems like a current priority for Miami, which is a positive sign when it comes to getting over this point total.

Cameron Johnson Over 0.5 Steals vs. Timberwolves

Opposing power forwards have averaged 2.61 steals per game against the Suns, the highest mark in the entire NBA. That’s great news for Suns PF Cameron Johnson, who has started all of Phoenix’s games and averaged 27.3 minutes on the floor. Johnson has recorded at least one steal in four of his last five games and although he will have a size disadvantage against Karl-Anthony Towns, he should be able to be active defensively once again.

KAT has averaged 3.3 turnovers per game so far this season and Johnson has averaged 2.5 deflections per contest. While this could get juiced up as the day goes on, it’s a solid addition to any parlay if you don’t want to single bet it.
