It's a wonderful Wednesday in the NBA today, and we have a nice fresh slate of games to go through, 10 to be exact. Celtics vs. Hawks Prediction

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics will take a trip to Georgia to battle with the Atlanta Hawks. The last 10 times these teams have met up with each other, the Hawks have won six of them. Boston is the top seed in the Eastern Conference right now, and that might stay the same way all season. This team is littered with talent everywhere, and they have the depth to be the best team in basketball. They have actually won seven straight games coming into this one, so they are red-hot, and the Hawks are going to have to cool them off.

Atlanta can certainly do it. They have also been one of the best teams in the NBA this season, especially on offense, where they are scoring 115.6 points per game. Trae Young once again has been an absolute microwave who can get hot and torch you for 30+ on any given night. Remember when they said he'd never make it in the NBA with his style of play? Hilarious how they judge a player before he even steps on the court, and they are the same guys who praised Jabari Parker as the NBA's next great star. The Hawks are 3-2 in their last five games and 7-6-1 ATS on the season so far.

MY PICK: Atlanta is at home and they will likely be the underdog in this game because Boston hasn't lost in forever. We have already seen the Hawks win outright several times as an underdog, including as a 4.5-point dog against Milwaukee the other night. Take the points with Atlanta.

Warriors vs. Suns Prediction

The Golden State Warriors will travel to Arizona to take on the Phoenix Suns. These teams have been going in opposite directions recently, with the Warriors winning three of their last five games and the Suns losing three of their last five. Golden State has started to look more like the team that we thought they would be over the last week. They looked terrible out of the gate, especially defensively, but they seemed to have made that a point to fix and it has gotten slightly better. They still are in the hole, but they are slowly climbing their way out of it. They are 5-9 ATS, again due to their early struggles.

Phoenix is the exact opposite. After starting out the season firing on all cylinders, they have cooled off quite a bit. They are still one of the better teams in the NBA, but they have to be careful with the path they are currently on. A big part of why this is happening is the loss of Chris Paul to injury. He is responsible for basically running the team when they are on the floor. Without his guidance, it has been a struggle. If he comes back for this game, that will give the team a huge boost. Phoenix is 8-5 ATS, the same as their overall record.

MY PICK: If Paul comes back, I like the Suns here at home. They need a win in the worst way to get back on track, and I think if Paul is back, they can take care of business. If he doesn't play, I would probably pass on this game.

Bulls vs. Pelicans Prediction

The Chicago Bulls will travel down to Louisiana and face off with the New Orleans Pelicans for the second time in a week. In their last game against each other, New Orleans beat Chicago 115-111 in the Windy City. The Bulls have been really struggling as of late, losing four of their last five games and just looking bad in all of them. It isn't like they have anyone who is injured besides Coby White, who is a bench scorer. I just think they are a bit overrated, and Zach LaVine's knee injury is very scary. He doesn't look like he can even jump out there, and he's had maybe one dunk all year long. Chicago still boasts an 8-6 ATS, but I just don't like what I'm seeing.

The Pelicans have looked great this season, and they are a team I have really enjoyed watching. Zion Williamson makes that offense just so explosive and exciting, and I'm praying every day he doesn't get injured. New Orleans has struggled a bit recently as well, but I wouldn't be super worried about them. They have a good roster that has been underrated to this point, and they will get things together. If they can stay healthy that is, and it's been a problem for them.

PICK: I'll definitely take the Pelicans here at home. The Bulls don't impress me at all, and they look a little out of sorts. New Orleans is a team that can take advantage of that and roll.
