The 2023 Masters Tournament will take place April 6-9. The first of four men’s golf majors, the Masters will feature most of the world’s best golfers battling it out for their share of $15 million, including $2.7 million and the coveted Green Jacket for the winner.

As usual, the sportsbooks are coming strong with special Masters promotions like odds boosts, winner insurance, “bet & gets” and more, so let’s take a look at some of the best sportsbook promos that you should be taking advantage of this week. FanDuel: Masters Winner Insurance

Opt in and place an outright Masters winner bet and if your golfer does not win but finishes in the top 20, get a refund in bonus bets up to $25. Last year’s Masters winner Scottie Scheffler (BetQL’s No. 3 value pick this week) and Rory McIlroy (BetQL No. 2) are neck-and-neck atop most odds boards this week to win the Masters and to finish in the top 20, so either would be a fine choice for this promo to maximize your chances at getting your stake back if they don’t win. 

BetRivers: Masters Winner Insurance

Opt in and place an outright Masters winner bet and if your golfer does not win but finishes in the top 10, get a refund in bonus bets up to $25. The strategy remains the same here with Scheffler and McIlroy both solid bets to finish in the top 10, if not win. Either would be a fine choice for this promo to maximize your chances at getting your stake back if they don’t win, but you may want to diversify your picks (and get the highest odds possible) if you’re playing multiple insurance promos, including the one below. 

Caesars: Masters Winner Insurance 

Notice a theme here? Opt in and place an outright Masters winner bet and you'll get a bonus bet equal to 200% of your stake (up to $50) if your golfer loses but finishes in the top five. This insurance promo is obviously harder than the two versions above because of the top-five requirement to trigger insurance, but you also stand to double your original stake if your golfer finishes second through fifth. In addition to Scheffler and McIlroy for these insurance promos, you might consider diversifying further with Jon Rahm in one; he’s +900 to +950 at most books and ranked as BetQL’s No. 1 value bet. For Caesars, though, you’ll want to go with the one you’re most confident can finish in the top five to give yourself the best shot at that 2x insurance. 

DraftKings: Masters Winner Odds Surge

Opt in and get a token to add +300 odds to any golfer to win the Masters. The best strategy is usually to add the surge to a golfer with relatively short odds for the biggest boost percentage-wise. For example, with Scheffler and McIlroy co-favorites at DK at +700, adding +300 to either would make him +1000 to win the Masters (or a 43% boost). You could use this surge to double-down on one of your “insurance” golfers above, or to hedge a bit to find a sneaky winner. 

DraftKings is also offering a 20% boost on Tiger Woods to finish in the top 20, currently +225 boosted to +270. However, this is a great example of why you should have multiple sportsbooks (the more the merrier) so that you can compare not only odds, but boosts as well, as you can find Tiger Top 20 at +300 and higher at some books. 

BetMGM: Masters Bet & Get

This is a unique promo from WynnBet. Bet $20+ on any golfer to win the Masters and get a $100 bet credit if they get a hole in one during the tournament. I’d definitely use this one to diversify your other picks and go for a longer shot as this one is way more random to hit for the bet credit. 

Bet365: Tiger Woods to make the cut (+100)

Bet365 will likely have more odds boost and maybe a promo this week, but they’re starting simple with Tiger to make the cut boosted from -275 to +100. To be fair, this is -200 at most places, but +100 is still a great boost.
