EPL Predictions, Picks, Odds For Matchday 32

Below are my English Premier League best bets for Matchday 32 based on EPL odds.

Headlining the weekend slate are Crystal Palace vs. Manchester City and Brighton vs. Arsenal on Saturday. Then, Manchester United hosts Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Check out the full schedule below along with my picks.

Everton vs. Burnley Prediction

Everton Moneyline (-155)

This is such a good sell-high spot on Burnley, who have received so much luck in recent matches.

They drew West Ham despite losing the xG battle 0.7 to 2.1 and went on to beat Brentford after playing up a man for 80+ minutes.

Then, despite going down a man to Chelsea and conceding four expected goals, they managed a point. In the midweek, they drew against Wolves, who were without five starters.

For Everton, they enter this match a major positive regression candidate at home.

Fulham vs. Newcastle United Prediction

Fulham Team Total Over 1.5 (-115)

Newcastle’s defense is completely decimated by injuries and I’ll be looking to fade them for the foreseeable future.

The following defenders are out for Saturday’s match: Tino Livramento, Sven Botman, Jamaal Lascelles, Kieran Trippier and Matt Targett.

That leaves them needing to deploy two players – Dan Burn and Emil Krafth – out of position in their backline.

Brighton vs. Arsenal Prediction

Same Game Parlay: Arsenal +0.5 & Under 3.5 Goals (-110)

This total is way too high in a match featuring two outstanding league defenses.

Arsenal leads the way in the Premier League in terms of non-penalty expected goals against. To date, they’ve allowed only 0.65 npxGA per 90, per fbref.com.

Not only is that the best mark in the Premier League – it’s the best defensive record across all of Europe’s top-five leagues.

Once he lands a powerful strike that gets his opposition in trouble, he immediately jumps on them to try and finish them with a flurry of more combinations. Like Pereira, Hill could defend takedowns decently and avoid danger in submission maneuvers. Due to their strike-heavy styles, expect this match to be a high-level fight on the feet.

The key for Pereira is to fight Hill on the outside and pick him apart with multiple leg kicks to take away his power and leverage his kicks when throwing them. This will give him the best shot of limiting Hill’s mobility and accumulating damage on the lead leg.

Meanwhile, Hill should pressure Pereira right from the opening bell to avoid his signature kicks to the calf and lessen its power when he throws it. Furthermore, Hill must close the distance to fire his boxing combinations and inflict damage against him. However, he needs to be cautious of the counterstrikes that Pereira is going to fire when they exchange inside the pocket.

Manchester United vs. Liverpool Prediction

Total Over 3.5 Goals (-110)

Don’t let the 0-0 result influence your thinking for this match – it’s one ripe for goals.

When these sides last played at Old Trafford, there were 42 shots in the first 90 minutes plus injury time, 18 of which found the target.

Take away the underlying data from injury time and bettors will find this match justifiably finished over 3.5 in regular time.

As home underdogs, United created 3.05 post shot expected goals and 2.84 expected goals, per fotmob.com.

Sheffield United vs. Chelsea Prediction

Same Game Parlay: Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals (-135)

Although I lean to over 3.5 goals (+100), this feels a safer option given past trends.

The three promoted teams this season – Burnley, Luton Town and Sheffield United – have struggled to keep out the best offenses at home.

To date, the trio have played 19 combined games against teams averaging north of 1.7 goals per game.

Only five of those matches have stayed under 2.5 goals, and the visiting team has failed to score two or more goals only four times.
