We jumped back on the winning train yesterday with a 2-1 night. We cashed Stars -1.5 for +158, and also grabbed Flames -1.5 for +102. We dropped our gambit on Canadiens +300, but still pocketed 1.6u of profit yesterday. NHL Picks & Predictions For Today's Games
This one seems familiar. It's as if this game was just played last night. Oh right, it was, and we won taking the Stars -1.5. Now these two teams will play in Dallas instead of St. Louis.
The Stars have now won five straight games, and they are starting to heat up as we are getting closer to the playoffs. They just crushed this Blues team in St. Louis, 5-2, and we cashed in on it. Dallas is scoring 3.44 goals per game and allowing 2.65, while outshooting their opponents 31.9 to 30.0.
The Blues are scoring 3.21 goals per game and allowing 3.67, while getting outshot by their opponents 32.3 to 28.6 on average. They have been fraudulent all season, and we have been cashing in on fading them down the stretch.
MY PICK: Stars -1.5 (+107, BetRivers). We're running it back for the second night in a row. Now Dallas will be at home for this one, and the Stars are just the far better team here. Plus, there won't be a difference in terms of fatigue. We're still getting plus-money at BetRivers, so let's take it.
Golden Knights at Kraken Prediction
In our second game of the night, the Vegas Golden Knights will be taking on the Kraken in Seattle. These two teams also played each other just a few days ago, when the Golden Knights won, 4-1, in Vegas. Now they will take the fight to Seattle. Vegas is scoring 3.26 goals per game and allowing 2.77, while outshooting their opponents 31.7 to 30.9 on average. They have won three of their last five games.
The Kraken had their winning streak snapped at the hands of the Golden Knights, as they have won four of their last five games now. They have had a great sophomore season, amassing over 100 points on the year and are one of the best teams in the West. Seattle is scoring 3.56 goals per games and allowing 3.07, while outshooting their opponents 30.4 to 27.1 on average.
MY PICK: Kraken ML (+106, FanDuel). With the Knights winning this matchup a few days ago, I think the Kraken have a good chance to get some revenge at home tonight. They have been really good at home, and getting them at plus-money here just to win is a pretty good value.
Our last play of the night brings us to our nation's capital, where the New Jersey Devils will be taking on the Washington Capitals. The Devils were one of our favorite teams to bet on in the beginning of the season because, at the time, no one knew how good they would be. The books caught onto that about halfway through the season, and the value has swapped to their opponents most of the time. The Devils have won three of their last five games and are scoring 3.51 goals per game and allowing 2.69, while outshooting their opponents 34.4 to 28.2.
This will be the last time I bet on the Caps this year, and hopefully, we go out with a bang. They have taken a nosedive towards the end of the season, but I still think they have a lot of value most nights, and certainly when they play at home. Washington is scoring 3.07 goals per game and allowing 3.16, but they are outshooting their opponents on average 31.1 to 31.
MY PICK: Capitals ML (+158, Caesars). It's been a terrible end of the season for Washington, but I can't ignore a number like this when they are playing at home. The Devils are the better team to be sure, but at +158, I'll take a shot with the Caps to grab the win at home in their last game.
