Tennessee Titans

The Titans have bounced back after a terrible 0-2 start to the season where they were embarrassed in both games. They are now on a two-game winning streak, making it back to .500 after beating the Las Vegas Raiders at home in Week 3 and then the Indianapolis Colts on the road. Now they get another very beatable opponent on the road in the form of the Washington Commanders.

RB Derrick Henry is in a groove after a slow start to the year. Henry had his best game of the season in Week 4 when he ripped Indianapolis for 114 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. Washington is No. 1 in the league with just 0.3 rushing touchdowns allowed per game, but they are just 16th with 112.0 rushing yards surrendered per contest. Now against this Commanders defense, they should be able to have a monster performance.

Defensively, they should be able to do some damage against this Washington offense. The Commanders are 30th in the league in turnover margin per game, so they will give you the ball.

The over is 8-2-1 in the Titans’ last 11 games in October.

Washington Commanders

This is perhaps the worst team in football through four weeks. They have lost three straight, and they have looked terrible in every loss. What's amazing to me is that the talent is still there for Washington despite the losses they have been racking up. Jahan Dotson, Curtis Samuel and Terry McLaurin downfield remains one of the most dangerous receiving corps in football. The Commanders could possibly make rookie Brian Robinson available in Week 5 after missing the four games of the season.

The pressure is on QB Carson Wentz to be better and more efficient, but he also needs his pass protection to do its job. No one has been sacked more this season than Wentz. Now, Tennessee has perhaps the weakest defensive line in football, and they generate very little pressure on the QB. Not only that, but they can't stop drawing flags; the Titans are 27th in the NFL with 7.3 penalties per game.

The Under is 6-1 in the Commanders’ last seven home games, so perhaps that will be a good play here.

Titans at Commanders Prediction: Titans -2.5

This is a disgusting game that no one wants to watch, let's just be honest here. This is the way I see betting this game: If the spread is 2.5, I'll take the Titans to get the win by a field goal. If the spread gets to 3, I'd disgustingly take the Commanders. I really think both teams are terrible, and when that is the case, taking the points is usually the play.
