Bills Need To Get Back On Track

The Bills entered Week 1 as one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl and -6.5 home favorites against the Steelers. Life came at them fast. They ended up losing 23-16, and with many questions as to what happened to that dynamic offense of last season.

Nobody wants to start 0-2, with just 9% of teams who start that way making the playoffs. Granted, there is an extra game this season, but there's no doubt Buffalo wants a win here badly to prevent Miami from going 2-0 in the division.

Josh Allen was still productive this past Sunday in a losing effort. He had 270 passing yards, but failed to come up big in the red zone. He was an MVP favorite coming into 2021, after being in the race last season with over 4,400 passing yards and a 37/10 TD to INT ratio. He had seven TDs against Miami alone last year.

The Bills will need to be better in the red zone and turning yardage into points. They had 387 total yards against Pittsburgh, which is great, but they only came away with one TD.

Dolphins Will Look To Go 2-0 In AFC East Early

Starting off 2-0 in your division is a great way to begin a season, and the Dolphins will be looking to do just that against Buffalo after defeating the rival Patriots in Week 1. They went into Foxboro as +3.5 underdogs and defeated Bill Belichick, and now they are home dogs to the Bills. Many people forget the Dolphins went 10-6 last season, and yet somehow missed the playoffs because stupidity.

Tua Tagovailoa will be the main point of interest and concern this season for Miami, as he will need to make great strides if the Dolphins want to do what they did last year all over again. There is no Ryan Fitzpatrick here anymore to bail out the offense when Tua struggles to get the job done.

Miami's defense is what really sealed the win against the Pats, and has played great since the beginning of last year. They may have given up 393 total yards to New England, but only 16 points, and made the Pats turn it over on their final drive to seal the win.
