The Vikings are the best 5-6 team ever. There. I said it. All six of their losses have come by one possession and they’ve been in positions to win against all of them against solid teams (at Bengals, at Cardinals, vs. Browns, vs. Cowboys, at Ravens, at 49ers). While they clearly have an issue closing games, I love them at -4 in the first half against the winless Lions this week, even if star running back Dalvin Cook doesn’t play due to injury. BetQL is listing this as a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ value and the model has gone 24-12 (66.7%) on 1st half spread bets in Vikings QB Kirk Cousins’ starts. So you know, if you bet $100 on those, you’d be up $999 right now! Further, Minnesota has gone 7-0 against the 1st half spread against NFC opponents this season. Most importantly, if you win this bet, you can pay homage to Cousins with a “you like that?!” Click the button below to instantly unlock every other Week 13 best bet for just $4.99!
I might be one of the few people not jumping on the Patriots bandwagon during their six-game win and cover streak. The most impressive win in that stretch was at the Chargers, who are barely above .500 entering Week 13. While the Bills certainly have their flaws, I’m going against the crowd here and taking Buffalo to defend its home turf and give New England a reality check.
The Buccaneers are rolling again, they’re back on track, Brady’s posting W videos to Instagram again and all is right with the world. The Falcons are in for a rough time against them this week. Atlanta couldn’t cover the 13-point spread against Tampa Bay in Week 2 and they just won a struggle of a game against the Jaguars, so I’m genuinely worried about them with how badly I see the Buccaneers demolishing them on Sunday.
The Texans have been a scrappy team all year, even if they’re clearly a bad team. Houston is 3-2 ATS at home and 3-1 ATS as a home underdog. Double-digit spreads can be dangerous in the NFL, especially this year given the success of underdogs this season. I like a Texans cover, but a Colts win, still my pick to end up winning the AFC South.
C’mon now. We’re really going to get a team not named the Lions or Texans under a TD against the Jets? I know the Eagles just lost to the Giants, but I think it was just a really bad game for Jalen Hurts. They still ran the ball well, but they got away from what they do best, and it cost them. I think they will be much better this week against an atrocious Jets defense. Shop around because some places still have this at -6.5 while others have at -7. Still like it either way, but at -6.5, this was basically an auto play for me. A perfect bounce back spot for a team that was rolling prior to the loss at New York. Eagles should run the ball all over the Jets, who can’t stop opposing rushing attacks.
