There are a number of intriguing opening Week 15 lines. Let’s get into them:

Jets (5-8) at Ravens (11-2)

BAL - 14.5, Thursday December 12th, 8:20pm EST

The Bills were able to contain Lamar Jackson (kind of?) on Sunday, but do the Jets have what it takes? That’s debatable. New York’s rushing defense has been solid this season, but it’ll be tough for them to prepare for Jackson and the Ravens offense on a short week. This is a gigantic spread and it will be fascinating to see what side most of the bets (and money) are wagered.

Patriots (10-3) at Bengals (1-12)

NE -10, Sunday December 15th, 1:00pm EST

When the Patriots are angry, that usually spells trouble for whatever opponent is coming up on their schedule. Losers of two-straight games, New England was hurt by a couple terrible referee calls on Sunday and their offense has not resembled a Patriots offense under Tom Brady. They’re double-digit road favorites against the Bengals, who have won just a single game this year and are in need of a statement win.

Seahawks (10-3) at Panthers (5-8)

SEA -5, Sunday December 15th, 1:00pm EST

The Panthers have lost five-straight games and have been outscored 158-91 in that span. They just gave up 40 points in their most recent loss to the Falcons, which certainly doesn’t bode well for their matchup against the Seahawks, who are coming off a disappointing 28-12 loss to the Rams. That was their first road loss of the entire season and this game will take place in North Carolina.

Broncos (5-8) at Chiefs (9-4)

KC -10, Sunday December 15th, 1:00pm EST

Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock broke out on Sunday and helped thump the Texans in what was one of the most shocking outcomes of the NFL season so far. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are on the upswing, having just gone into New England to beat the Patriots. This is one of the more fascinating lines of the week: who do you trust more, Mahomes and company at home or the rookie with a 10-point cushion on the road?

Jaguars (4-9) at Raiders (6-7)

OAK -6, Sunday December 15th, 4:05pm EST

Have the Jaguars given up? It certainly seems like it. Losers of five-straight games, Jacksonville has been outscored 164-57 over that span and just lost 45-10 to the Chargers in front of their home crowd. Meanwhile, the Raiders have lost three-straight games and have been outscored by an insane 116-33 margin in that span. Both teams are in a complete free fall at the moment. Nonetheless, Oakland opened as a six-point favorite at home in this one.

Rams (8-5) at Cowboys (6-7)

DAL -3, Sunday December 15th, 4:25pm EST

After the Rams took care of a tough Seahawks team 28-12 on Sunday Night Football, are you getting the sense that they’re heating up at the right time once again? Remember this was a four-loss team that made it to the Super Bowl last year! Meanwhile, the Cowboys are barely clinging to the NFC East lead with a 6-7 record, have lost three out of their last four games and look completely disjointed on both sides of the ball.
