Best Bets To Win 2023 NFL MVP

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, +2200: I personally feel as though people are really down on Dak after last season, and the Cowboys in general, so that makes me want to bet on them. Usually, they have all kinds of hype around them, so this is a buy-low spot on a guy who certainly has always had the potential to win this award. -Matt Horner

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, +2200. Another team that I think is getting slept on in the AFC East, the Dolphins have a ton of potential. The offense is totally stacked with talent, and if Tua can stay healthy, I think the potential is certainly there. We saw what they could do last year with a healthy Tua. -Matt Horner

About BetQL's NFL Picks

BetQL is the place you go to for NFL MVP bets, but we also have plenty of other services besides value bets on futures. We have the most advanced NFL model out there, with a proven track record of winners to get you solidly in the green by the time the season comes to a close. The BetQL NFL model will have you covered every day of the season, and every game of the season, with the best bets available on the market right now. It shows you the price of each bet and where to place it at the best price, so you always will get the most value out of every wager you place.

The BetQL NFL model ranks bets based on a "star-scale" algorithm, which rates each bet 1-5 stars based on how valuable the wager is. A 1-star bet tells you to stay away, and that there is no value there at the current number, while the higher you go on the scale means more value is to be had. A 5-star bet is the most valuable wager we have, and we would recommend putting a unit on that particular wager. BetQL encourages a wager on 3-star and higher bets, with 3-star being a smaller bet and 5-star being a larger one. We have bets on the spread, total, moneyline and 1st-half of every NFL game, so make sure to check it out as the lines change!

NFL MVP History

The NFL MVP award goes to the best player in the NFL every season. Most of the time, this is a quarterback that leads his team to a great season with some awesome stats. In the past, we have seen some amazing performances that have garnered the NFL MVP award to some superstar players.

Peyton Manning's 2013 season with the Denver Broncos was one that comes to mind immediately, breaking the NFL touchdown single-season record. Of course, his team ended up being blown out in the Super Bowl, but he clearly was the best player in the NFL that season. Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has won the award three times in the last decade, and he's been one of the best players of the last decade, despite only winning a single Super Bowl. Tom Brady has won the award once in the past decade, but we all know that he is considered to be the GOAT. More recently, Patrick Mahomes has been the new standard in winning the NFL MVP award, along with Ravens QB Lamar Jackson.

This award has been won by only the very best players in the NFL, and we will see many great performances to come in the future.

About The NFL MVP Award

The NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) award is given to the player who is considered to have had the most outstanding individual performance during the regular season. The award is voted on by a panel of 50 media members at the end of the regular season and is considered one of the most prestigious individual awards in the NFL.

Here are some key facts about the NFL MVP award:

  • The award has been given out since 1957, with quarterbacks winning the award the most frequently.
  • Only two players have won the award three times: Jim Brown (1957, 1958, 1965) and Brett Favre (1995, 1996, 1997).
  • Tom Brady has won the award three times (2007, 2010, and 2017), making him the oldest player to ever win the award at age 40 in 2017.
  • Quarterbacks have won the award in each of the last eight seasons, with Patrick Mahomes (twice), Lamar Jackson, and Aaron Rodgers highlighting the bunch.
  • Other positions have won the award, including running backs, wide receivers, and defensive players, although this is relatively rare. Adrian Peterson, for example, won the award in 2012 as a running back.

Winning the NFL MVP award is a significant achievement, as it recognizes a player's excellence and contributions to his team's success during the regular season.
