This is the first time the Steelers have been a favorite this season, and come in with some extra time between games having lost 29-17 on Thursday Night Football to the Browns.
The Jets are now 1-2 after their 27-12 loss to the Bengals.
Joe Flacco has at least put up some decent numbers if you're looking on the prop market so far this year while filling in for Zach Wilson. His QB rating is only 77.9, but he's thrown for 300 yards per game and five touchdowns. He's also fumbled four times and thrown three picks, so you're getting a lot of both spectrums from Flacco right now.
The Steelers are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games played in October (yes, it's about to be October already) and are 10-1 straight up in their last 11 games at home against the Jets.
Mitchell Trubisky is the favorite to be the first starting quarterback benched, and his 77.7 QB rating doesn't really help the situation. He's only thrown two touchdown passes over the first three games, with the Bears the only team averaging fewer yards per game than Pittsburgh.
Both come in averaging a combined 35 points a game, and with the inconsistent play at quarterback, there's a solid chance this isn't a high-scoring game, even with Flacco can pile up some of those yards in the air again for the Jets. Give me under 41.5 points.
