BetMGM Tonight: Will Jalen Hurts Earn the Starting QB Job For the Philadelphia Eagles?

The NFL preseason is moving right along and there’s a lot of excitement surrounding the rookie quarterbacks ahead of this season. Audacy NFL Insider Brian Baldinger joined Ryan Horvat and Quinton Mayo on Wednesday’s BetMGM Tonight to give his thoughts and insight into what he’s seen from the rookies so far. 

Does Baldinger think Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields can win Rookie of the Year this season?

“I don’t know Rookie of the Year,” Baldinger said. “It’s still early … He’s got everything it takes to be great and it’s just a question of the opportunity right now.” 

On Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, Baldinger raved about his work ethic and character. 

“I’ve been around Jalen this offseason … he’s a natural leader,” Baldinger said. “He wants to be coached.”

“I think he’s got a good chance,” Baldinger said. “I think he’s got a chance … I’d put my money on Jalen, man, just what kind of person he is.”
